Matt and Danni run their own luxury mattress and bedding business and have created quite a life for their family, with home a sprawling country house, but Danni hopes living like the other half will help recalibrate their work-life balance. For Katie and her daughters home is a run-down three-bed in desperate need of updating, and Katie works four jobs to make ends meet, one of which is selling pre-loved clothes.

Episode 6

Millionaire owner of a packaging company Rachel and her husband swap lifestyles with struggling Lyndsay and her 21-year-old daughter Katie, who are both recovering from serious health issues. During the week Lyndsay and Katie take on the work of a successful CEO, while Rachel, Steve and Amelia adjust to a life of chores and cheap pleasures, with the swap proving life-changing for both sides.

Episode 7

In an episode full of tears and triumphs, angel investor Steve Bolton swaps with carer Val, who dreams of starting her own Zimbabwean restaurant. Millionaire Steve lives in one of Bournemouth most upmarket suburbs, and his children Charlie and Ella have their own annexe in a million-pound home. In Portsmouth, Val and her mum Cleo live in a council house that has seen better days and with three kids and only £52 spending money a week, every day is a struggle. Val and Cleo take to the royal box at Newbury races, while Steve, Ell and Charlie learn to cook cow's foot stew. While Val is inspired to move on her business dream, Steve and his kids have some of the best quality time in their lives.

Millionaire currency trader Lewis and his wealthy best friend Helen swap their lives of luxury with cleaner Nicole, joiner Grant and their three sons. Lewis lives in a sprawling country house near King's Lynn, Norfolk, complete with six deluxe bedrooms, while Nicole and Grant's Grantham three-bedroom council house has cramped bedrooms, threadbare carpets and a kitchen barely big enough for family meals. When the two families finally come together at the end of the week, emotions run high, revealing just how life-changing this swap has been.

Episode 10

Wealthy businessman Joe Sealey swaps his luxurious home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, for the rented three-bedroom house of Widnes single mum Steph and her two daughters. Steph works up to six days a week from home selling holidays she can only dream of, but despite being brilliant at her job struggles to make ends meet. In an emotional programme, living on a budget reminds Joe of the dad he lost as a young man, and when Steph discovers Joe is launching a new range of donuts, she is roped into a board-level sales meeting with unbelievable results.
