Millionaire owner of a packaging company Rachel and her husband swap lifestyles with struggling Lyndsay and her 21-year-old daughter Katie, who are both recovering from serious health issues. During the week Lyndsay and Katie take on the work of a successful CEO, while Rachel, Steve and Amelia adjust to a life of chores and cheap pleasures, with the swap proving life-changing for both sides.

In an episode full of tears and triumphs, angel investor Steve Bolton swaps with carer Val, who dreams of starting her own Zimbabwean restaurant. Millionaire Steve lives in one of Bournemouth most upmarket suburbs, and his children Charlie and Ella have their own annexe in a million-pound home. Millionaire hotel owners Gez and Rosy Chetal swap lives with the cash-strapped Bloor family, who are struggling to make ends meet but dream of running a music café. As the wealthy Gez and Rosy discover what life is like without free spending and financial comfort, the Bloors step into the world of luxury and opportunity, taking over the hotel and putting their café dream to the test, with incredible results.
