But although Gary does his best to see that Jacqui and Max's marriage is also wrecked, Max finally realises that Jacqui wasn't having an affair after all.

Lance tells Josh that he left the play before the end because he was ashamed, and Josh's teacher advises Ron that Josh has behavioural problems, and should see an educational psychologist.
