Every year the school Science Fair is VP Lane’s favorite annual class event where students flex their inventiveness - Lan Jun hopes to shine in this scientific challenge to deepen a connection with her Dad. Meanwhile, Kai and Adrien repair the abandoned Dark Armor after stumbling on the parts in the school dumpster, then upgrading it with Artificial Intelligence! On the day of the presentation, while Kai is demonstrating the Armor, a Shard turns the suit into a huge mech which turns on the pilot. Jade must intervene and use all her skills and inventiveness to beat the artificial intelligence and save Kai.

But not if the Crimson Lord beats her there! He intends to absorb ALL the power of the mystical Garden for himself. Jade has to put everything on the line to stop him this time, for good.
