Episode 1

Jacko is back to find that Lionel has died. Sandra finally leaves Splosh and Jacko decides to sell up and give Giles back his money. Elmo is back from Australia. He found an opal mine and is now very wealthy.

Veronica takes over the business and immediately employs Sandra as secretary. Elmo originally offers to invest in Jacko's business but Jacko talks him into starting up a wine bar instead. Jacko takes up Veronica's offer of a job.

Elmo has trouble with the staff when they all quit over some 'friendly pats of encouragement'. Jacko decides to take Veronica out to cheer her up. Leslie has decided that she is going to marry Giles, as a marriage of convenience, and is going to make him ask her. However it doesn't work out as he decides that he is still in love Gloria and drops her.
