Tori Vega gets the chance of a lifetime, after filling in for her sister's performing act, she is given the opportunity to attend the elite Hollywood Arts High School. However, fitting in proves difficult when she is targeted by Jade when she sees her with her boyfriend, which causes her to wonder if she truly belongs there.

However, an ungrateful Trina decides to turn her birthday gift into cash by selling the song, because she thinks it isn't an actual gift since Tori didn't spend any money on it. Meanwhile, Robbie is asked by his grandmother to teach her about computers, and Cat decides to tag along. She regrets it, however, when Robbie's Grandmother shows a deep dislike of her.
