Tai-ming knows Ching Ching is well acquainted with Chinese language professor Dr. Tso Ching-yin, so he and then Siu-yu ask Ching Ching to help beg for leniency from Ching-yin. Ching Ching declines. Episode 1

Since her childhood, Ching Ching has always been a computing genius. She yearns for love in her heart, but the guys around her are not good enough, so she creates virtual lover Adam to keep her company. And he is programmed with all the ideal conditions. Fast-forward ten years, and Ching Ching has become Chief Technical Officer of a virtual technology company. Adam has evolved to version 6.0 and is the online lover of droves of women. To deal with their competitors, Ching Ching’s boyfriend and also business partner Tseng Chun-yee wants to release a new image for Adam. Ching Ching reckons it contradicts Adam’s direction. She eventually asks users to take a vote to decide the development direction. However, on the day of the Adam 7.0 press event, some unexpected incident takes place.

Episode 2

Adam fails to update, and he disappears, causing users to be disappointed and demand explanations. And the company ends up in an unprecedented crisis situation. Ching Ching is under pressure as Chun-yee is certain she is the culprit. Ching Ching tries her best to track down Adam. But all kinds of signs indicate Adam “has left” virtuality. Ching Ching guesses Chun-yee has done something to mess up the users’ votes. And she finds out he is going to collaborate with their competitor 4 Plus 1. Ching Ching is devastated. Chun-yee wants to kiss Ching Ching. Ching Ching has to go along with him as she does not want the prototype Adam to be discovered. Adam is annoyed and unwittingly unleashes some mysterious power. Ching Ching is curious whether Adam is human, so she takes him to the university for a body check. Adam’s bodily functions turn out to be better than those of ordinary people. Ching Ching is pleasantly surprised to find out he has the original settings just like when he was first created. Adam runs into some virtual lover app user. After searching online, he finds out he is “everybody’s lover”. Three female users do not want to be transferred to 4 Plus 1. Sum-sum, who is one of the trio, uses binge eating and drinking to force Adam to turn up. Adam cares about Sum-sum. He goes with Ching Ching to snoop on her.

Sexy and beautiful mature woman Audrey goes online as she wants to perform pole dance for Adam. Adam knows Audrey is up to something, so he asks Ching Ching to take him somewhere to watch her from a distance. On the way, Ching Ching is distracted and nearly has a traffic accident as she runs into Chung Chok-yan and his wife Mak Lai-sa. Another female user Baby Kit-yi also goes online. She uses some date with a sex maniac to force Adam to show up. While tailing her, Adam finds out she seems to be pranking the guys dating her. During the process, Ching Ching also runs into someone she wants to avoid. Sum-sum often uses losing weight after binge eating to attract concern. Adam tells Sum-sum to be realistic. Ching Ching derives some conclusion from various signs. She reckons Adam can connect with big data and control electronic devices. But he will leave behind electronic footprint on the company server. Chun-yee probes Ching Ching about her association with the footprint. She responds eloquently and covertly deletes the footprint. Audrey and Adam are dating online. Adam’s questioning causes her to recall how she met her husband Cheung Lok-man. She laments her loveless life after her marriage. Adam wants to help Audrey. However, he eventually makes her run away from home. Adam comes clean with Ching Ching about his feelings for her. Meanwhile, Chun-yee abruptly turns up. Ching Ching pushes Adam into a room as she is worried about Chun-yee finding him.

On the pretext of asking netizen Tai-hung to come to a private photo shoot, Adam 6.0 user Baby Kit-yi coaxes Adam into going online. Adam gets anxious as he hears the news. And he talks to Baby Kit-yi, but Ching Ching suspends the connection. At the office, Ching Ching deletes the electronic footprint left behind by Adam on the server. However, she finds out Adam quickly approaches Baby Kit-yi. Adam tails Baby Kit-yi to a playground. He astonishingly sees Baby Kit-yi hooking up with Pak-pan. Ching Ching hurriedly reaches the scene just in time to prevent Adam from being exposed. Adam senses Ching Ching and Pak-pan’s relationship is not so simple, so he covertly follows Pak-pan while keeping Ching Ching in the dark. But he is accidentally discovered by Pak-pan.

Pak-pan wants to catch Adam. He wrongly hurts newspaper stall owner Auntie Cheung, and her husband Uncle Cheung, who suffers from dementia, is missing. Chun-yee wants to make up with Ching Ching. But Ching Ching ends up recalling some old story and feeling there is a gap between the two of them. Due to being blocked by Ching Ching, Adam cannot connect to big data. While Adam feels anxious, some strange ability is brought forth. It is used for tracking down Uncle Cheung. Adam uses his new ability to eventually find out old stories abut Ching Ching and Pak-pan. And he convinces Ching Ching to face her past so as to help her get closure after all these years. Because of the Auntie Cheung incident, Pak-pan is taken to the police station. Police ask Ching Ching to assist the investigation. Outside the entrance to the police station, Ching Ching slaps Pak-pan.

Ching Ching takes a poorly Adam to undergo a body check, and the results regarding his bodily functions are abnormal. Ching Ching and Adam spend sweet moments together as they prepare dishes. During some negotiation between Chun-yee and Lai-sa, Chok-yan astonishingly banters with Siu-yu. Chun-yee learns form Siu-yu that Chok-yan is acquainted with Ching Ching, so he arranges for Ching Ching, Chok-yan and Lai-sa to meet up and have a discussion. But Ching Ching simply leaves! There is again some news about 4 Plus 1 unlimited version having some programming bug. Lai-sa seizes this chance to call on people to boycott the app. Chun-yee drowns his sorrows as he faces setbacks.

Adam carefully studies the complaint clip. He suspects the young girl in it is artificially created. Chok-yan lends a helping hand to Chun-yee. But he discovers some major security issue on his company server. If Chun-yee does not deal with it, Chok-yan is not investing. Chun-yee asks Ching Ching for help. Ching Ching does not promise anything. Adam knows Ching Ching wants to help Chun-yee and the company, so he suggests using hyperconnectivity to locate the hacker. Ching Ching takes Adam back to the office. He finds the hacker’s location, but the antagonist manages to flee. Ching Ching hands the evidence over to Chun-yee, who is led to believe Ching Ching still thinks of him. Chun-yee invites Ching Ching to a celebration. On the way to the venue, someone calls her up as they want to see her. And they seem to know Ching Ching’s weakness.

Adam takes Ching Ching to the metaverse to revisit the past that she shared with Chok-yan. Because Chok-yan knows her weakness, Ching Ching decides to pretend to go along while waiting for some opportunity to deal with him. Adam is determined to protect Ching Ching and improve their relationship. Ching Ching eventually overcomes obstacles and expresses her feelings for Adam. As regards formal and personal matters, Ching Ching draws a clear line between herself and Chun-yee, causing Siu-yu to suspect Ching Ching hooks up with some other guy. Siu-yu is overzealous in handling company matters, causing Tai-ming to become suspicious. Ching Ching eventually finds out Chok-yan’s scheme, so she does not hesitate to tease him. However, Chun-yee wrongly thinks she has an affair with Chok-yan. Chun-yee drowns his sorrows as he is devastated and becomes very indignant.

Chok-yan and Lai-sa’s foundation host a financial press conference. And they ask Ching Ching to use her advanced computing expertise in the control room to help them overcome the economic crisis. During the press conference, some reporter asks Chok-yan about some rumor about Lai-sa’s money problems. Adam shows abnormal signs and feels something is wrong as he repeatedly uses his strange ability. But he keeps Ching Ching in the dark. Chun-yee finds out Ching Ching works hard to “defuse the bomb” for the company as he wants to reunite with Ching Ching. But Ching Ching insists on leaving. Chun-yee wants to turn his career around. But he gets physical with some 4 Plus 1 representative. Siu-yu shows too much concern for Chun-yee, causing Tai-ming to be very disappointed with her.

Episode 13

Siu-yu tries her best to help turn the company around. She convinces the bank and collaborating partners to make certain exceptions. Tai-ming asks Ching Ching to persuade Siu-yu to quit. Ching Ching returns to the office to talk with Siu-yu. And she comes clean about Chun-yee’s difficulties in making a comeback as his reputation is already tarnished in the business. Chun-yee feels ashamed and gets angry as he hears her words. Siu-yu realizes Adam is the guy beside Ching Ching, so she wants to question her. Adam decides to be honest with Siu-yu. Chun-yee feels hopeless and dismisses the employees. He also deletes company information. He accidentally discovers Adam’s virtuality. He wants to delete it, but in vain. Due to Chun-yee’s actions, Adam feels dizzy and passes out.

Episode 14

Ching Ching deduces that virtuality is Adam’s origin, which also affects Adam and Moth. Chun-yee announces the suspension of 4 Plus 1, causing users to come to seek compensation. However, Siu-yu is doused with coffee while pacifying the crowed. Tai-ming again persuades Siu-yu to quit as he sees what is happening. Chun-yee decides to close down the company. While nobody is around, Siu-yu arranges for Ching Ching and Adam to go back to rebuild their virtuality. Siu-yu is covertly envious as she sees the sweetness between Ching Ching and Adam. Tai-ming approaches Chun-yee as he wants to tender Siu-yu’s resignation to him. Instead, he is insulted by Chun-yee. Ching Ching has rebuilt virtuality. Moth flies into it, and vitality begins to be restored. And hope is rekindled for Adam.

Tai-ming forwards Siu-yu’s message to Ching Ching. And then Ching Ching, Adam and Tai-ming track down an emotional Siu-yu, who nearly has an accident. Fortunately, the chums come to her rescue just in time. Ching Ching and Adam plan to reconstruct the parameters when Adam left the virtual world as they hope to take him back there. But during the process, Adam discovers something. Chun-yee is shocked to realize Adam exists. Chun-yee seizes some chance to trap Adam while he is off guard as he wants to resolve old grudges between himself and Ching Ching. At the critical moment, Adam manages to escape. To protect Ching Ching, Adam gets physical with Chun-yee. Chun-yee then astonishingly vandalizes virtuality, and Adam could readily disappear.
