Junior High Season 6, Episode 9: Can We Still Be Friends

At registration, Korky tells Sean how he is ready to change his life, how he is done screwing around and that he is now going to go by his real name. Korky is still trying to make up to Teresa and Cicely for what he did last year and be civil to all his old friends who won't have any of it. He decides to go job hunting but finds not many people are willing to hire him. Before school, Jared is at Cicely's (who is no longer doing homeschool) and tells her that she needs to break it off with Michael before he finds out about her and Sean and gets angry. She calls him during lunch and he tells her he can't let her go like this and that he wants to visit her. She tells him its over and its better if they don't see eachother for a while. Jared and Carl are dismayed when new junior staff reporters mock the paper and don't take them seriously. A black out at school has everyone in a frenzy and not ready to learn. Nolan continues to hang out with the group and takes a liking in Sarah. Cicely is suspicious and tells her that Nolan is up to no good but Sarah blows her off. At the end of the episode, we see that Nolan is Michael's friends who he is working with for some reason to get back at Cicely for dumping him. Aaron tries to get a job at the hospital and when he's turned down because he's too ""religious"", Cicely is frustrated and ends up quitting. Colby moves into Anna's house whose under stress when her friend asks her to cut for her which she eventually caves and does it. Aaron loses his election; Beth admits to Charlotte that Coulier is nothing more then a friend to her and she blabs to the circle of friends, Coulier is meanwhile told that his college fund was lost in stocks. Jared fills in for Teresa when she has to go to one of Blayke's practices and ends up liking the daughters mother; Korky and Sean go job hunting; K

Anna starts getting cuts from class after she tells her friend, Sheryl, that she refuses to cover for her anymore. She confronts Sheryl but she denies everything. Colby doesn't know what is wrong with her and tries to intervene but she tells him to ""Butt out or move out."" Jared almost tells Brigette he has feelings for her with the goading of Teresa who believes it was all fate, Sarah finds out that Nolan is Sarah's friend after her and Chloe are fighting outside and they see Mike lurking around with Nolan but she decides not to tell. Korky's first real interview is an embarassment and he has to deal with the fact that his past will forever haunt him, but finds help in Shameda after Sean contacts her. At a party, Blayke walks into two people in an intimate moment and later regrets it, tensions amount when Aaron tells Mandy the only reason she got his old job is because of ""sexism,"" Cicely gets accosted by someone by Mike at the party and spills punch, whereas Sarah pushes Nolan into th

Empty Handed

Anna starts to cut for Sheryl again but later admits to Billy that she can't continue doing it. They set a plan to make Anna get caught marking someone absent and Anna transfers classes and ends up getting reduced day. Sarah makes Korky get a job at McDonald's so she can have ‘free food' but later has to fill in for him when he gets sick, Gretchen finds out about Coulier's parent's troubles when his parents are seen gossiping with other ritzy parents and is surprised that Coulier's parents sell there house. Gretchen, aware that Beth is going to dump Coulier interferes causing Beth to get upset and run away from both of them at the movies. Teresa finds out that Kalyopie resents her because of Gaby during Economics, Sean and Michael fight after he shows up again but only Cicely gets through to him; Alex and Chloe bond with the group to everyone's surprise.

My Love Is Like Wo

It's homecoming once again as Gretchen tries to set up Colby on a date with a no-show causing him to swear off woman altogether after he was hesitant in the first place. Jared takes out Brigitte to the football game. He admits his feelings for her instead of going to the dance and she says she's flattered but doesn't think it would be right as he leaves, crushed. Coulier arrives at Beth's in tears as she tells him that there through. She tells him she's not going to dance with him and that it was her intent to break up with him before but Gretchen stopped her. Unbelievably hurt, Coulier goes by himself to the dance and makes a fool of himself as he breaks all of Billy's cds (he's the dj). Blayke and Teresa try to discuss sex but find it intimidating because of how open Sean and Cicely are about it. Aaron and Mandy, Jen and Dante, Chloe, Alex and two jocks compete for the homecoming title but Chloe actually feels empty when she wins and get's told to ditch her ‘lame group' by her date.

Extraordinary

Gretchen confronts Jill who was out partying instead and tells her that if she doesn't re-date Colby she'll tell everyone that Jill and her friends were drinking illegally out on the beach. Jill reluctantly accepts but has no chemistry with Colby whose shy of her. He eventually loosens up at another senior bonfire when he gets a few drinks as some members of the group look onto him with disgust/worry. Beth accuses Coulier of using his circumstances of trying to get her back, which causes Gretchen to flip out on her and tell her ""now I remember what a bitch you were."" Sean's remarks upset Cicely who tells her that she won't put up with some of his teasing. Korky's English teacher believes in him and encourages him to send some of his writing to a film school; Jared visits Brigitte again and apologizes as she says he'll one day find someone that's perfect for him. Alex, Teresa, Charlotte and Kalyopie stand up for a freshman who later turns on them to be ""cool,"" Blayke keeps getting lette

Bad Moon Rising

It's Halloween again and Mandy is ahead of the Fall Ball Church Halloween Carnival, an alternative to Trick Or Treaing for kids. Chloe finds this out and forces her and Alex to volunteer and cut it down. Kalyopie and Alex meanwhile have become great friends during English and Kalyopie tags along much to Chloe's dismay. When she overhears Chloe boosting about proving Mandy as a phony she steps in and tells her to back out of there life and orders her to leave the party but Chloe reverses it by threatning to tell everyone that Kalyopie has no religion. Chloe's plan goes haywire though when Alex leaves with Kalyopie causing her to set her sights on Kalyopie instead. Jill hasn't warmed up to Colby and tells Gretchen there deal is off if Colby doesn't loosen up. Gretchen tells Colby to just not be so tense and he gets the picture. At the Halloween party thrown by Jason and Jaynie he drinks again which makes Jill happier. Meanwhile, Jared tells Teresa he's dissapointed in Teresa drinking j

Like A Prayer

Kalyopie denounces religion and its close minded views during a GSA meeting causing a fuss at school. Chloe uses this against her towards Richard and all her other friends. Jared tells Kalyopie she's ostrasizing herself as a lot of there friends are somewhat religious even if they don't show it all the time but she is the offended one. Beth switches lab partners so Coulier fails a test to get her to retutor him. Colby gets kicked out of Gretchen's house when her mom finds him and Jill on there bed so he moves in with Anna. Charlotte is overly supersitious when she mails off her first college application. (It ends up without a stamp)

Sinking In

College apps are due and cause everyone added stress. Coulier pleads to Beth to continue tutoring him but she's too busy with choir to help him in physics like she promised before they broke up. She finally agrees to help him study for the final but she never shows up. Jared confronts Colby at a party and tells him to strop trying to impress Jill but gets told off. Teresa finds this from Gretchen and berates him and tells him to lighten up and stop coming down so hard and judging everyone whose just having fun. Aaron and Mandy personally tell Kalyopie how offended they were by her antics but she pretends it doesn't matter. Sarah tells Gretchen she doens't like Cicely who tells Chloe to get her off her back.

Outrageous

Coulier makes sure he fails his fails to punish his dad, mom and Beth. Jason crashes at Billy and Charlotte's place and quickly annoys Billy and then even Charlotte. Cicely confronts Sarah and the two turn on Sean and Korky but later the four plot to one up Chloe. Anna's parents throw out Colby when once again he's found with Jill.

2000 Miles

Sarah throws Kalyopie a goodbye Christmas Party but no one shows up except Jared, Cicely, Korky, Sean and Alex (who comes at the last minute by ditching Chloe's fancy party). Jared tells off Teresa for being a hypocrite hurting there friendship even more. Jason gets news he's moving to New York and asks Charlotte to go with him. Colby finds himself homeless for the holidays while Coulier blows off a meeting with his counselor only to find out his dad's fortune changed.

Sarah storms in on Coulier's fathers New Years Eve Party and lashes out at everyone who didn't show up at Kalyopie's party. Korky finds out about Cicley and Sean sleeping together and storms out, upset during a group game of Truth or Dare. She ditches Sean to go after him and the two talk all night. Coulier punches Billy when he's' left rideless when Charlotte rushes off to go pack. Jared finds himself quite alone after Teresa mocks Jared for not drinking and having fun all the while judging everyone else that is. She calls him a 'goody goody' and he gets no support. At there Church News Years Bash, Aaron and Mandy find themselves defending Kalyopie's recent actions.
