Korky dumps Tania after much deliberation but she doesn't take it well. He tells her that he's not ready for such a comittment and she gets all her Freshman friends to teepee his locker. The Charlotte/Billy fued deepens when Billy tells Charlotte that he saw pictures of Alycia and Jason kissing and she accuses him of taking pleaure in ruining a relationship that shes not in. He tells her to butt out for once only to hurt her even more. Blayke blows off Gaby at their lunch meeting to help Teresa in math, Matthew gets attacked by college kids walking at night prompting Kalyopie and Gaby (after Kalyopie tells her to think of other people for once) to start an ""Anti-Violence, Pro-Tolerance"" campaign. Junior year starts off as a big one with each of the gang worried that this year will influence whether or not they get into college or not. Colby, Gretchen, and Gaby are most affected when they take all honors, and not sure if they can take it. Aaron's on the outskirts with everyone talk to the old gang, and Korky learns he's now going out Rhoda. Billy doesn't talk to Charlotte after he blames them for not touring this summer as she was in England all summer and he taking courses he failed but he ends up thanking her. Korky, Cicely, Teresa and Sean have most classes together and the friends worry the re arrival of Sean will make the three of them turn into partier again. Beth also comes back and hangs out Anna and Gretchen after she misses the unity of her old group, while Anna misses Aaron. That Thing/Like A Virgin
A speaker promoting absitenance causes a hub-ub and school, and prompts the whole gang to discuss sex (or lack thereof). Jason Hasby promotes abstinence but gets the opposite affect on some of the kids. In fact, sex seems to be on everyones mind, as the whole gang realize virginity is the one thing they have in common; and some are more apt to get rid of it than others. Aaron, who agrees with Jason barely even converses with his friends about it, but is suprised when most of his church friends don't necessarily agree with him, especially Rhoda who wants to move faster but Aaron won't hear of it and temporarily breaks it off. Korky, embarassed he's one of the few virgins ""left,"" boasts in the locker room that he's done it, with Cicely. When she finds out about this she tells him she'll never speak to him again, and Teresa and the rest turn their back on him. Korky's unsure of what his relationship with Cicely (and even more with Teresa) and drinks himself into oblivion only to be helped by Sean who doesn't squeal when he spreads more rumors about the two girls. Carl tries to put his relationship into words for an article that he's doing on ""Love That Survives Over the Summer"" but can't and Gretchen automatically assumes it's a bad thing. Brody asks Christy to go back out again but she says no and he worries that he still likes her, while Aaron, upset over realizing his church mates aren't that ""perfect"" try to distinguish what they really are and at times tries to get back in with the group but feels shunned. It's Columbus Day and for a History project, Charlotte and Brody decide to portray the ""true"" Christopher Columbus but it upsets their teacher who wanted all the students to enter the History contest and when Charlotte refuses to change it but Brody changes his, Brody's old friends tease him for being a ""goody good"" now and he ends up embarrassed and questioning Gaby why he has changed so much and if it's the better for him and in the end he vows to break his ""goody good"" mold. He tells her she needs to loosen up and change and the issue is dropped. Sitting On The Ritz
It's Halloween and to this year, Colby decides to throw a party by renting out a room in the Hotel that he works at (Hotel Rainsford) and is chagrined when Lily invites herself to the part along with Brooke and Bryce. Angry that so many people paired off during Homecoming, he promises it to be a ""scary bash"" but the other three whom he works with just talk about their school which makes the party the opposite of scary. Brody also helps since he's so fed up with hearing people talk about his old style behind his back and at the party he confronts everyone about it. It's Thanksgiving Week at school and finals aren't the only things on the teen's minds. Charlotte and Billy are still in Hollywood with Jason and Jaynie (they took there finals early) and both try to go out on a date-type setting but Jaynie and Jason keep getting interrupted so they decide to go home for the December vacation. Teresa, Jared and Coulier are unhappy when they find that a park they take the kids too is going to be torn down for office buildings they get others involve and try to protest it. No one is really interested in helping and eventually a student tells the group to ""Stop protesting everything, not everything is bad"" but they refuse to stop and even take it to the town meeting where the Judge even asks them if they know what is going in the parks place. Coulier feels embarrased when he finds out his father is financially backing the project and his dad won't stop financing it. The construction goes on and the gang feels foolish for trying to fight the world for no reason. A rouge caller keeps leaving messages for ""a Junior at McKinley High"" that gets the entire school a buzz. Morning after morning, the caller leaves clues for the DJ to announce on the radio and it turns out its one of the gang. Clue by clue, everyone suspects its everyone else until its finally revealed that it was Jason suprising Charlotte. Also, Aaron helps his brother ask out Teresa's sister to the Sweetheart Valentines Dance; Kristen blows off Richard thinking he won't find out about the dance. Gretchen gets asked out by a rowdy guy and hooks Anna up with his friend.
People Are People
Gaby doesn't understand why her sister is so distant with her so she decides to try and get to know her and suprisingly finds she leads a more difficult life than Gaby gives her credit for. All into loving and not fighting, she inadvertantly gets Dante and Jenny together, upsetting Sarah who was just going to ask him out on a date. She yells at Gaby and Gaby decides to keep her distance and tells Brody how she doesn't know he could have been with her, which Coulier overhears and they discuss her, with the boys saying she was just raised different but Gaby won't buy it. Billy gets teased by someone in Math, which only worsens when Charlotte tries to defend him. Billy tries many methods including trying to get the kid but its to no avail as he just teases him. Everyone goes down to San Diego for the annual ""Youth Awareness Conference"" held all around San Diego. Korky meets Tania Sparks and instantly feels a connection with her. Near the end of the trip, Alexis asks Korky why he's been spending all his time with this girl but he tells her he's made a friend and nothing more. Charlotte feels Jason doesn't care about her anymore after he plays a concert at Sea World but she's not allowed backstage by his security. Colby is irritated after feeling like Lucy's toy and is discouraged when he has no one to really dish to her about it so he's forced to confide in a sophmore who tries ditching Colby the entire trip. Anna feels Gretchen uses her when she needs a friend and doesn't really care about Anna at all. Meanwhile, Kalyopie and Gaby go on a tirade yelling at people for not keeping their hotel rooms clean, while Cicely calls Michael and tells her she's moving to New York for four months when her grandfather ""takes a turn for the worse.""
Swing Swing
Korky sees Tania getting on the bus back home from San Diego and freaks out, especially since they had kissed the night before. He assures Alexis it will be okay but as soon as he gets off the bus he rushes to make sure Tania's luggage is okay. Swing dance lessons start, and soon become the new High School craze. They're hosted by Kendra LaRussa, a college freshman who Sean is sure he will get to fall in love with him. Cicely decides not to do it because she works and helps Aaron get a job at the hospital. As swings lessons continue, things heat up. Aaron tells Jared he doesn't want her to continue dancing with Mandy because he's jealous. He tells Jared she talks about him constantly but Jared reassures they are just good friends, much like Sarah and Aaron used to be. Aaron gets upset when Jared doesn't back down he asks Sarah to be his partner. Sarah accepts when she fails trying to separate Jenny and Dante as partners. Gaby tells her to stay away from a happy couple and Sarah fires back for her to mind her own business. Gaby and Blayke go together, only increasing Sarah's anger towards Gaby. Korky tries to get out of his 'relationship' with Tania but finds it hard after Teresa takes to her (Teresa is partners with Sean). Kalyopie wants out of her relationship with Richard and is suprised when Coulier calls her spoiled.
What Have You Done For Me Lately?
It's 80's week at school and everyone is excited because its the lsat week before finals. Blayke finds solace in Gaby after his mother is repeatadly on his case. The two form a strong bond talking to eachother and lunch and decide to go off together everyday and just vent. Teresa heads up the prom comitte and is warned by last years head that she is in for a stressfull two months. Anna upsets Kalyopie when she dances with Rich at the 80's dance. Mandy and Aaron flirt and he admits to using Sarah to make her jealous. He's shocked when she doesn't suggest that she ditch Jared for him. Sarah tells her that Jared has many girl-friends so if he found someone new he'd change partners after Aaron hints to her that he's jealous of Jared/Mandy. Mandy tells Sarah that Aaron was also best friends with her not just Jared. The two grow close but Sarkin buts in and immediately tells Mandy he's into her. Gretchen is interested in Sarah's visiting cousin but Sarah tells her to back off. Korky gets out
Thank You, Baby
Everyone gets paired up for a fake family (some single) for the Health Class Final. Beth and Coulier are suprised to find out the way they were raised were totally opposite and Beth gets upset. They soon realize that more than not they will actually be together ten years from know let alone be having kids so they decide to just have fun the rest of their time together. Charlotte is annoyed with her little sister and tricks Billy into babysitting her. Blaye gets stuck as a single father and his respect for his mom grows. Gretchen switches partners to ensure she's with Jay despite Sarah's annoyance. Cicely and Sean compete with Teresa and Korky to be the more active, richer family only for Alexis to run off hurt that Korky didn't ask her to be his partner. Lucy wants to go to Colby's house but he doesn't let her; Jared and Anna switch roles, Aaron is single while Sarkin and Mandy are together making him jealous. It's Gonna Be Love
Korky continues to see Tania and is questioned by Sean if its something more then a typical high school relationship which makes Korky wonder and feel even worse about Alexis. Lucy tells Korky if he hurts her best friend, she'll have to deal with her. Blayke and Gaby's friendship deepends as does Richard and Kalyopies as they discuss their futures after a job scouter talks to History classes. Anna sets up his uncle with Cicely's aunt, while Gretchen officialy dates Sarah only to be scared off after Sarah ""mentions"" her strict father. Mandy and Aaron kiss but decide to remain friends and not let it get in the way of their friendship. Also, Beth thinks Coulier forgot her birthday and doesn't know why she's so angry, only to have a suprise party thrown for her at Couliers house.
Fast Car
Anna and Gretchens one time dates get killed after driving drunk after a beach party. Gretchen and Teresa are spooked because they almost took rides in the car with the two guys. (They ended up calling Sarah and Jared to pick them up). Grief, sadness, loss, anger, coping (not knowing how) and the questiong of life are explored.
Low (aka SATurday)
It's the day before SAT's an everyone is in a fit of nervousness. The AP teachers add stress to the situation when they constantly remind them that they can't neglect that test as well, and that the SATs are really just a ""practice"" causing everyone to be on edge. Billy tries to pump on his math skills (he was too distracted before) and relate it to everything he does, annoying some. The school is still upset over the accident and Teresa is upset at anyone that is using the deaths as an excuse to do poorly. Anna spies on Gaby whose not studying (shes with her sister and Mr. Cannon) so Anna, Jared and Colby confront her about it and she yells at them saying they don't understand and that she's not even taking the test. Kalyopie gets stuck in traffic the day of the test with Brody and Sarah while Alexis sees Korky and Tania kissing right before the test but doesn't tell him she saw after its over.
Start Me Up
Blayke has a big race coming up and feels the pressure from his mother, Alexis continues to ignore Tania but confronts her and Lucy tells her to back off from things that she shouldn't be messing with. Alexis goes to apologize but Tania tells her she needs to not worry about her and that Korky obviously chose her ""the cheerleader"". Gaby and Rosemary continue to work with Mr. Cannon, Colby wins tickets to a movie premiere but doesn't know whether to take Lucy or Anna. (He chooses Lucy after Anna 'bows out'). Gretchen and Sarah reconcile and decide to stay away from family members, as do Jared and Brody but Jared and Colby continue to ignore eachother. Aaron asks out Mandy after repeated lost opportunities and they date. Cicely's aunt invites Coulier and Beth to dinner at there house to try and get dish on Cicely's social life.
Unsavable
Alexis dumps Korky after he tries to make all the lost dates up to her. Billy sees his old bully Rodger and Charlotte once again butts in after she feels he's getting mocked again. Billy yells at Charlotte and wants to her stay out for good. At the prodding of Blayke, Gaby and Rosemary bond outside of school and try to do the same with there parents who are more interested in eachother. Beth, Teresa and Cicely lose Cicely's dog they bought at the pound; Gretchen apologizes to Anna to no avail; Sarah is told off by Kalyopie after she ruins a night out with Rich; Jared, Brody and Mandy are upset when they lose a 3 word story they wrote in English class that had teachers names in it (Ella finds it and laughs it off only criticizing their grammare usage).
Sweet Child Of Mine
Volunteering at a convalescant home provides lessons for some. Charlotte gets a demanding ex-diva while Colby recieves a fun loving older man; Beth and Mandy get nice, older ladies, Sean and Korky mean, older men with a heart of gold. Anna, Aaron, Cicely, Coulier and Teresa must go to the Alzheimers ward and find it difficult, scary and fufilling all at the same time. Blayke tells Gaby he's beginning to have romantic feelings for Teresa moments after Gaby tells Anna she truly loves Blayke. Upset at the fakeness of high school/lost friends, Gretchen and Jared bond. Gretchen on a streak tells Colby to talk to his parents and make up with them but he lies and tell her everything is alright. Inspired by there talk Jared calls his fathers parents (his mothers are long gone) and they tell him to meet him outside a bus station in their town. Stupid
The SAT results get mailed to mixed reviews. Teresa is the most upset when she sees how poorly she did. Aaron (who overhears her telling Cicely) finds her after school and tells her that she's always had troubles taking tests and she should look into test anxiety symptons but she tells him that she is just dumb and its too late anyway. The two girls (both dissapointed with their results) say if worse comes to worse they'll go to the easy Community College nearby and be roomates together. Sarah offends Jared when she tells him she's suprised he did better then her, while Gaby is on edge. Kalyopie asks if she's doing any drugs which only makes her even more upset. She continues to hang out with her sister and Mr. Cannon but no one knows why. Coulier's ego is hurt when Beth does better then him on the test, and he thinks she insuates that he'll get in to wherever because of his money. Jaynie convinces Charlotte, Gretchen and Teresa (she leaves out Sarah because she doesn't like her snide comments about pageants)to enter a beauty pageant after everyone complains they don't have enough money to do anything. Sarah enters anways and the other girls are hurt that they Jaynie didn't even offer a position to them. Charlotte sees Alycia, a famous teen model that turns out to be a real witch. Charlotte confronts her because she's heard reports about her and Jason dating. He denies them but Alycia just smiles. She's still worried but listens to Jason when he says its all a publicity stunt. Colby and Lucy are on a mission to meet there favorite actor whose rumored to be in town for the show and after searching for him they are dissapointed to find out he's really a rude, lazy chainsmoker who was overly nice and demeaning. Lucy offends Aaron when she says she doesn't know if she believe in God sparking lunch to turn into religious studies.
More To Me Than You
Billy wants to move out of Charlotte's shadow and does so when he books a summer solo fair tour. Colby tires of Lucy's bashing and he tells people that he dumped her only to have her find out (he denies it). Gaby and Teresa fight over prom stuff (Gaby wants it more retro) while Blayke shys away from their fight. Aaron is uncomfortable with his new feminime lab parter and gets blasted by it when he tells the gang he doesn't feel comfortable (he slowly gets to like him). After much goading, Kalyopie helps Colby confront his parents. Beth, Gretchen, and Anna are ""hired"" by Mr. Cannon to see if his student-teacher is up to no good.
Where's The Love?
Korky dumps Tania after much deliberation but she doesn't take it well. He tells her that he's not ready for such a comittment and she gets all her Freshman friends to teepee his locker. The Charlotte/Billy fued deepens when Billy tells Charlotte that he saw pictures of Alycia and Jason kissing and she accuses him of taking pleaure in ruining a relationship that shes not in. He tells her to butt out for once only to hurt her even more. Blayke blows off Gaby at their lunch meeting to help Teresa in math, Matthew gets attacked by college kids walking at night prompting Kalyopie and Gaby (after Kalyopie tells her to think of other people for once) to start an ""Anti-Violence, Pro-Tolerance"" campaign. Jared tries to get countless study sessions together only to have the best one get ruined by Gaby telling off Teresa.
Someday We'll Know
Gaby and Kalyopie's headquarters get broken into and bashed. Matthew gets better, and Aaron brings him to his church to show how tolerance is important (everyone goes with them) and is shocked to find a negative response from most everyone. Lucy returns to officialy dump Colby. Jared finds Cicely's ring and she tells him all about it. She says she's not sure what's she's going to do. Everyone is suprised when they get an invite to the graduation and a note attached saying they MUST go. When they see Gaby and Rosemary's name in the book and then see them sitting in the pit, they are shocked. After she graduates, everyone is invited to there house for the party. She tells them that her and her sister have been taking double credits to graduate this year. Everyone is happy for them until she says how her and her sister are moving together to San Francisco. Hootenanny (aka The Fourth)
Korky's senior pictures are uncomfortable when Jared is waiting for his but the two actually talk and get nostalgic. Everyone is hanging out at the beach for the Fourth of July. Korky has a good time playing the field but manages to avoid Alexis only for so long. Colby also has little luck seeing Lucy but he repeatadly tries to apolgoize to her but she won't have of it as she's with another guy (with Alexis and her date). Billy feels bad about Charlotte and tells Coulier his tour has bombed. Jared and Anna vow to have the best year ever even if that means causing trouble; Blayke and Teresa almost kiss but Blayke tells her he feels like he almost needs Gaby's blessing first; Teresa tells her that Gaby is gone and they just need to move on. The two end up kissing before the fireworks but Blayke says he doesn't want to commit just yet causing Teresa to leave the fireworks show. Forever and For Always
Everyone goes to the wedding of Missy and Earl. Jared is happy to see his parents and all of his family. (Dylan has a new baby with wife Kelly, and his mom's snobby sister and wife show up with 17 year old Bailey). His parents tell him that they've been making strives and are beginning to feel like a real unit again and Jared/Jacob can't help but just feel love and happiness for there return. He skates around the question if they'll move back soon but they say they're not sure and how well their being raised causing Jared to feel hurt. Charlotte denies Billy's apologizies at the wedding but he invites Jason to the party as a suprise. Charlotte tells Billy she'll never truly hate him but that she was hurt. Teresa and Blayke come closer, Anna and Jared's cousin hit it off, Sarah brings Richard to the wedding only to have them shuffled to there seats before they can tell Kalyopie that Sarah brought Richard for the two to make up. Sean and Cicely get together, Colby tells Gretchen he was k
