Junior High Season 4, Episode 23: Stupid Cupid

No Drama A

As the fourth season opens, it takes place at the wrap party for the Survivor that the gang just got back from on a yacht. Everyone finally starts talking and when they do, they remember everything that took place over the summer. Jared tells Kalyopie that he's going to tell Colby about Lily cheating on him, but she shows up. Joshua also shows up, and Aaron is mad that he stole Anna away from him after them becoming such good friends. Surprises are abound when Theresa returns along with Charlotte and Billy. Charlotte and Billy immediately go off and talk, causing Kalyopie to feel horrible. She is helped by Gretchen, who tells her to lay off because they probably won't be going out if Aaron tells her about the summer. In the end, they stay together and he doesn't tell her. Jared and Gretchen try to deny that they felt sparks during the summer. Tension is abound for Blayke and Coulier and Sarah, especially when Bre's shows up and tells them that she won't be going to there school as does

No Drama B

The first day of school ensues with Korky being the big hit of the friends after he tells them how he's clean for the first time. Him and Cicely get along really well and in the end share a kiss. Jared goes out for the paper, but might not get it after the editor; a new sophmore doesn't care for him. (guest Luis Ayana as Carl Arana), but Jared vows to make it, and in the end he does. Theresa feels like she doesn't fit in after being gone all summer, and is too jealous of Charlotte and Billy's newfound fame. Anna and Colby try to survive a whole school day without there significant others, and after contemplating ditching, they decide to stick it out. Brody and Gaby work out their friendship; Sarah feels like she can't spend time with Blayke or Coulier will get jealous, but she wants too. Cicely doesn't feel like she's fitting in, but Korky tells her to get used to everyone. Meanwhile, Korky doesn't fully feel involved in the group.

What's Going On?

Amidst the tragedies, questions are aroused from all points of view of the whole gang. During all of this, the gang finds an old journal in Cicely's house written by a young girl Annie written in 1971 during the Vietnam War which makes them all wonder how life would have been if they were living 20 years ago. In the fantasy, the boys worry they will get drafted, while the girls try to find some ways to help out. The journal is unfinished in the end causing worries and uncertainties about the future.

Write This Down

Colby takes a job at Lily's fathers pumpkin patch, but is angry at her when she keeps standing him up, Charlotte and Billy handle there newfound fame differently, Charlotte trying to stay levelheaded, but Billy going egotistical, so Charlotte tries to help him a bit. Jared and Carl clash when Carl doesn't like Jared's writing, and he tells Jared the only way he can join the paper is if he gets Gretchen to be his writing partner, and in the end he gets her to do it, but then Carl starts flirting with her causing Jared to rethink his decision. Gaby tells Brody she's not sure she wants to go out with him again and he gets hurt by that comment, Cicely, Korky, Teresa, Kalyopie, Blayke, and Sarah all want to go out with for the fall production of West Side Story, causing Coulier to get upset with his girlfriend telling her its just an excuse to avoid him. Also, Aaron takes Anna to a church event when Joshua cancels there date.

Dance With Me Part 1

In part one of a two-part episode, homecoming week begins at McKinley. Charlotte tries to get Aaron to ask her, but he's been very busy at his church carnival, and the class's queen, Rhoda Marks (Nicole Cueto). Jared tries to ask Gretchen to the dance after she doesn't have a date, but in the end Carl asks her and he is angry after she accepts him, knowing that Jared was going to ask her. Colby is mad at Lily when she gets him a job at the family pumpkin patch, and then tells him that she's going to be busy the night of the dance. Coulier tells Sarah that he'll make plans, which gets Sarah mad and she says she might have to practice that night. Brody and Gaby decide they're going to avoid the dance together; Billy struggles with his side concerts, and his work. Also, Anna tries to get the class's king, to look at her, but in the end she decides to give it a rest. Also, Cicely and Korky grow closer when they are outcasted, Kalyopie helps Sarah and Blayke get ready for the play causing t

Dance With Me Part 2

At the football game, Coulier yells at Sarah for not going with him causing her to run out to Blayke whose with Kalyopie studying. Gretchen and Carl are cozy, while Aaron tells Charlotte that he's going with Rhoda so she'll go to the dance causing her to storm out. Colby works at the pumpkin patch, with Lily but something is awkward. Anna meets up with Joshua at the game, leaving Jared out after Gaby and Brody leave to go talk. Cicely, and Teresa make Korky choose who to take. At the dance, Gaby and Brody end up going and end up going out again. Joshua and Anna and Lily and Colby end up having a great time. Teresa and Blayke end up going together with Cicely and Korky who end up leaving after Justin and Sean want them to go to a party (they refuse to go). Also, Jared asks Charlotte and together they sulk in there pity as Carl and Gretchen, and Aaron and Rhoda have a great time. Kalyopie and Billy go together, but Billy is so exhausted they leave early, as do Coulier and Sarah after the

Somebodies Watching Me

Halloween night spells trouble for all on Halloween night. Coulier's party turns into disaster after Sarah storms out after Coulier didn't invite Blayke. Cicely and Teresa clash over whose taking out Korky, Anna is bummed when Joshua can't come, Kalyopie toils around the idea of asking Aaron what's the deal with Charlotte's ""attitude"", exhausted Billy takes Kalyopies pills, Colby is upset when he has to work only to hear that Lily's at the party with Bryce, until Gaby and Brody tell them to leave. Also, Jared and Gretchen help out at the kids rec. center despite they're feuding.

Get Down Saturday Night

Episode revolving around a typical Saturday night with the friends. An exhausted Billy signs up for another concert despite everyone's warnings, Charlotte tries to pin down Aaron but can't seem to track him down. A night at the movies goes awry after Colby and Kalyopie spot Aaron with Rhoda, but decide not to tell. Cicely tries to kiss Korky, but Teresa foils her plans. Also, Blayke and Sarah work hard on the play, Jared, Anna, Gretchen, Brody, and Gaby get stuck out it the middle of the nowhere after sneaking out to a party by taking a taxi, after the taxi driver leaves.

Thanks A Lot

Thanksgiving at the Asphraga's turn into turmoil after Jared's mother is a no-show, also Laura battles with being alone. Also, the O'Ridians have a lonely holiday after the father disapproves of his eldest son's new relationship and they're sister, Madison tells them that she's dropping out of school. At Coulier's, his father leaves him after Coulier refuses to stop seeing Sarah.

My Maria

Trouble erupts between Teresa and Sarah after she nabs the starring role, as does Korky. Coulier, who's jealous of Korky verbally, starts to spread about rumors about how Korky got the job, leaving Sarah to leave him. Also, Cicely decides to leave the play after getting an insignificant role, causing Blayke to worry about her. Charlotte, Gretchen, Jared, and Colby go looking for the perfect tree, Billy decides to take the vacation off, but his manager Sherry won't hear of it. Aaron becomes involved with his church causing Anna to think that they're drifting apart, Kalyopie worries about her weight for the upcoming holiday dance so she starts to take pills, also Brody and Gaby become partners with moody Chastity Lee.

Jingle All The Way...To The Church, The Dates And The Theatre

As Christmastime approaches, Sarah toils with the idea of dropping out of the play after she loses Teresa for good and also isn't being talked to by Cicely, Korky and Coulier, but is unexpectedly talked out of it by Blayke, who tells her to forget them. Kalyopie helps out a struggling Billy in school after his new Christmas act at Belly's is a hit. Charlotte and Jared leave the church that Aaron, Anna, Gaby, Brody and Chastity go to after they show movies on abortion that she doesn't believe in, causing her to be shunned by the rest. Carl asks Gretchen out, and the date goes awry after his parents, brothers and sisters follow them on his ""first date"". Also, Colby and Lily have a crashed date after they ""run into"" Bryce.

Opera Of The Bells

At Mr. Couliers Christmas Eve party, Coulier and Sarah are tense together while Lily and Colby seem to have very little left in common. Jared and his family prepare to go to his mothers, but last minute cancellation at the airport cause sadness for all. Charlotte and Billy prepare for their concert at church later, only for sleep deprived Billy to fall asleep on Teresa's arm, and she doesn't want to wake him up. Gretchen has trouble trying to evade Carl at a Christmas carnival at an elementary school; Gaby and Brody realize that Chastity needs professional help when she talks about ""jumping off the edge"". Anna feels uncomfortable at Aaron's heavily religious views on the holiday. Korky find himself in hot water after he gets himself and Cicely in a party where a group is doing drugs. Meanwhile, Blayke and Kalyopie help nervous Charlotte who has the hiccups; Blayke finds Kalyopie's weight loss pills.

O Holy Night

At midnight mass, Laura is surprised to find Earl with a new woman, and leaves with Missy and O'Ridian. The concert brings all together, but lonely without Lily who left to go to her own party, Colby toils around the idea of trying to find Tammy, whose rumored to be at the concert. Cicely shows up at the party drunk, and Korky can't contain her, causing Aaron to condemn them both, pushing Korky to go get drunk. Anna is surprised when Joshua shows up. Brody and Gaby help a sad Chastity outside who is preparing to jump, while a tense Kalyopie and Blayke hang around a more tense, and sad Coulier and Sarah. Teresa and Jared help Cicely, who was abandoned by a now drunk Korky, who shows up and both of them have to be helped home. Gretchen helps a flu-ridden Kalyopie backstage. Near the end of the episode, Coulier dumps Sarah saying that he can't compete with him, Colby is alone, Kalyopie gets worse and Gretchen calls for help, Teresa and Jared have to take a sick Korky and Cicely home, and

Wherever (Whenever)/Auld Lange Syne

Aaron is hurt after Jared, Charlotte, and Anna refuse to go the church New-Year's party, so they spend it with bickering Laura and new best buds Earl and Cole, and also with lovebirds Missy and O'Ridian. At the church, Carl surprises Gretchen and actually woe's her, Sarah stays at home and is surprised by Blayke who shows up, and the two are getting comfy until Shameda and Bre show up, now that Bre is out of chemo. Coulier is bored at his big family party without Sarah, and toils with the idea to call her, and is shocked to find Lily their with Bryce. (Lily said Colby was sick). Healthy Colby goes to the church gathering with now ""healthy"" Kalyopie, Chastity, Brody, and Gaby but they end up having a depressing evening after they realize her fellow church members won't help her, but instead tell her to pray out her problems. Aaron discusses moving into the church, since he's embarrassed of his families low income. Also, Korky invites Teresa to a bash after Korky tells her that he was cl

I Really Don't Think So

Teresa and Billy beg Kalyopie to seek help for her ""flu"", until she realizes that she's taking too many diet pills, but decides to not stop taking them after she finds out she lost 15 pounds already. Sarah can't feel comfortable anymore around Blayke after she feels guilty whenever she's with him around Coulier. Brody and Gaby return to Chasity's church and they feel a part of something; despite Charlotte, Jared, and Colby telling them to stop going causing Aaron to feel hurt. Teresa can't stand Korky's sweet talk anymore, and gives him an ultimatum-her or Cicely. Colby can't stand Gretchen and Carl's new romance that's leaving him out of his old best friend's life, Sarah and Jared toil around the idea of telling Colby about Lily, in all her cheating splendor, but in the end decide not too; Coulier is depressed over being single and Blayke, Korky, and Cicely end up cheering him up.

He Said, She Said

Coulier has a hard time when he hears a rumor that Sarah wants to get back together with him, he excitedly tells Blayke who breaks off his date with Sarah. Sarah blames Kalyopie for starting the rumors, and that drives Kalyopie into dieting more. In the end, Sarah tells Coulier and Blayke that she can't see either of them for a while. Korky tries to counsel Cicely while her grandfather is back in the hospital, and he's afraid that that will make Cicely go off the deep end and start being a bad girl again. Gaby and Brody look into the living facilities at the church after Aaron moves in, despite an intervention with Anna, Charlotte, Colby, Teresa, Jared, Joshua, and in the end only Aaron moves in despite his parents, and brother Aarkin please. Billy performs at a kiddies party.

Get Over Yourself

Sarah is hurt when an angry Kalyopie tells her to get over herself, her play sucks and she can't believe she even has two guys after her. Cicely is upset when Teresa shows up at the hospital to show ""support"", but really only hangs out with Teresa. Korky contemplates who to choose if Teresa asks, and imagines going out with both the girls. Chastity is in another rut causing Gaby and Brody to look for a place for her without her knowing, but she finds out and yells at them causing them to feel like traitors. Gretchen and Carl go on a double with Anna and a very particular snide Joshua, only to find Lily out with Bryce, and they are surprised that Sarah, Kalyopie, and Jared also have seen them rendezvousing. Meanwhile, Charlotte is shocked when Aaron breaks it off with her citing ""religious differences"", Billy tries to learn to write a perfect ballad and dreams he performs it with E's Crush.

Fool

Coulier feels horrible for feeling led on by Sarah; Colby feels left out of Gretchen's life and talks to Carl and doesn't like him. Anna tries to talk to Teresa with something really important, but it just won't come out right. Jared interviews Billy, and he wants to take the angle portraying Billy as ""a struggling artist"", but Billy doesn't like that idea. Charlotte copes with her and Aaron breaking up, Gaby is severely depressed when her and Brody find out that she was taken away to a depressant home, and Gaby can't take it. Aaron is upset when his parents don't insist hard enough for his return, Colby feels a fool when he spots Lily with a boy when he surprises her; Kalyopie is sick again and has to drop out of the play causing Sarah to hate her even more. Blayke, and Korky ditch school to help Cicely avoid taking a swig while her grandfathers in surgery.

All This Love

Everyone seems to be sick of one another as the episode opens, Cicely feels horrible after no one comes to visit her or her grandfather, and takes it out on Teresa. Sarah loses her voice during rehearsals two days before opening night while Kalyopie and Coulier have a great time knocking her down, which causes her to run to Blayke. Korky is sick of dealing with moody Cicely and is tempted when visiting Josh wants him to ditch. Anna tries to talk to Charlotte, but she's too worried about Aaron. Now moodier then ever Gaby comes to the conclusion to Brody, Jared, and Colby her three closest friends that she too, needs to leave and find herself since her family life is in shambles after a tough couple of days. The prompting of her abrupt decision to leave causes Jared wants to come clean about the summer, Lily, and Bryce. Aaron is surprised when Rhoda tells him that he needs to dump all of his disbelieving friends. Billy deals with his newfound celebrity after Jared's article is a hit.

We Need A Resolution

Jared tells Colby who can't believe that about Lily, and when he confronts Lily, she finally comes clean and Colby walks away from her. Everyone deals with Gaby's problem in different ways, while Brody takes it the hardest as his best friend is gone. Teresa confronts Cicely when she's mad the limelight is taken away from her, Sarah finds inspiration in Gaby to go out on stage and perform her out, but the constant ignoring/teasing from Kalyopie and Coulier doesn't stop. Charlotte and Billy get asked to tour around Europe in March, Gretchen puts a dent in her relationship with Carl when she doesn't want to do an article about depression when she feels to close to the subject because of Gaby, also Aaron helps a sick Kalyopie and brings her into the church where she is shunned by everyone else. Anna tells Missy that she wants to go on the pill.

You Don't, You Won't

Colby officialy breaks it off with Lily, who then runs to Bryce but she isn't as happy as she thought she would be. Brody waits to hear any word from Gaby, and is shocked to hear that she was put in a depression rehab from Korky, who was there for having drugs last year. Jared is annoyed with the lovesick couple of Gretchen and Carl, Kalyopie keeps popping pills, Sarah confronts Coulier with the help of Blayke, Aaron tells Rhoda he can't dump his friends, but she says that he must to officially be with the church. Billy and Charlotte go through the pros and cons of touring. Cicely gets in a fight with Teresa, after she won't leave the hospital when her and Korky are doing a school project.

The First One Hundred

At the wrap party for the finale of the kids Survivor experience, the show is shown and the news of the sequel comes in and the kids all agree to do it together as well as a clip show of the first 100 episodes.

Stupid Cupid

All troubles are forgotten on St. Valentines Day. Brody is surprised how much he misses Gaby; Korky frets on who to choose so the girls take him out on a date reminiscent to Dismissed; Colby doesn't know how to react to the news that Bryce and Lily are throwing a huge party that Coulier has to go too—and Charlotte and Billy are singing. Carl's older brother Luis (Galen Gering) accuses Gretchen of being a snot when she doesn't get an extravagant gift—only a meeting with Carl's whole family. Anna tells Joshua that she wants to ""go all the way"", but did they? Blayke, Sarah, Kalyopie, Jared, Aaron, and Colby all go out to dinner but his church members accost Aaron. Blayke waits for Gaby's call; Korky makes his decision.

Family Portrait

Aaron's family gets a visit from a mysterious guest who informs them that Aaron leaving isn't a normal teenage thing, but a borderline cult, so they try to get him to come home with the help of the whole gang. Gaby returns to an embarrassed family. Anna and Missy come clean with Missy about Valentines Day; Colby is forced to get a job at Lily's families hotel; Korky and Cicely go on their first date; Charlotte and Billy struggle to tell Colby where they were on Valentines Day and surprisingly he isn't upset. Also, Gretchen tries to make up with Carl.. Guests Sandra Bernhardt and Tom Arnold as Sal and Daniel Marnette, and Nicollete Lynch as Rosemary Marnette.

Too Bad

Teresa, Jared, and Adam have to help intercity orphans paint a mural for a school project and struggle with the angry leader who obviously has problems. The church confronts Aaron about the past summer—and squeal on Chloe, who was the mysterious guest and coaxes Aaron about their reality, but he refuses to listen. Sarah goes looking for her next big break and starring role and wants Blayke to help her, but he doesn't feel right about it. Cicely's grandfather takes a turn for the worst and realizes that everyone is her friend when they show up at the hospital (even Aaron). Joshua tries to talk to Anna, but she fears the worst while Colby dodges Lily and the ever-present Bryce at the hotel.

One Hand In My Pocket

Jared, Coulier, and Teresa eventually break down the fickle familia, Korky and Justin have a fight at lunch and Teresa thinks its about her (its about Korky getting revenge framed) and ends up making a fool of herself to both of them, Brody pushes Gaby for an answer but isn't prepared for her response. Also, Kalyopie drags Anna to a frat party, but the two wish they hadn't gone when they get harassed.

Somebodies Somebody (1)

Bre shows up and Jared is smitten with the idea of being smitten, and he automatically attaches to new worker Gina Viver (Lindsay L). Charlotte and Billys go looking for a new manager to move in, after the old one (Eddie v H) gets a gig. Korky and Cicely disgust everyone by being in love, and both reject alcohol at Justins birthday party. Coulier and Teresa work alone on a project and vow to apologize to Nina and Cicely (which they do at the end of the episode). Brody is jealous to all the attention that Gaby is giving Chastity who returns.Colby had to mediate a fight between Bryce and Lily, Gretchen and Anna are disgusted by the competitiveness of Carl and Joshua.

My Baby Loves Me Just The Way That I Am (2)

Billy and Charlotte deal with Allison wanting to change there image, Chastity feels like no one understand her and Brody urges Gaby to call for help when he follows them around, but she doesn't. Colby contemplates breaking up Lily and Bryce for revenge after they look at him to be their messenger. Sarah is told that she isn't ""white"" enough for Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, which gets Blayke fuming. Also, Jared and Gina grow close and decide to go to a party with Cicely and Korky at Justins. Gina and Korky both get plastered from drinks given to them by Justin (Jared and Cicely refuse), and up together in a bedroom, where Cicely and Jared eventually walk in on them.

I Get Weak (3)

Colby tries to put Lily and Bryce back together, but is shocked when they don't want to get back together, so he comes clean to them both, and loses Lily as a friend for good. Jared and Cicely try and ignore the support that the rest of the friends want to give. Korky blames Justin for spiking the drinks, but no one believes him or Gina. In the end, Cicely takes back a truly sorry, but Jared refuses to take back Gina, or Korky as a friend. Also, bed-ridden Gretchen gets obsessed with Game Show Network. Also, Sarah is hurt when Blayke repeatedly starts to date their practices more than usual, and he refuses to tell her why.

Lucky

Luck doesn't seem to be on anyone's side during the week of St. Patrick's Day. Jared refuses to talk to Korky and when he finds out Cicely took Korky back, he decides to not talk to her either. Sarah follows Blayke and finally realizes that he's just running track; but when she confronts him about it he gets extremely angry. Teresa lands herself in hot water when she finds herself liking Felipe, the oldest Garcia and is faced with the name calling that she gets from the other inter-city kids. ""Loose T"" Meanwhile, Aaron tries to mend ties with his church by committing to run for Junior Class President and to represent the church, while Charlotte does seem to be the only one when she rushes home to London to see her parents give birth to her new sister, Rainy.

Hands Clean

Gaby tries to wash her hands clean of the past when she gets Senora Mills as a sub again, but Mills doesn't want to forget it. Sick of the way the school runs, Brody joking convinces to Colby that he should run for President, and he accepts, but only to Aaron's chagrin. Jared can't forget about what Korky did and denies calling back Gina, or talking to Cicely. Teresa tries to save face by dumping Felipe, but ends up not caring about what others think. Also, Gretchen's strict-grandma comes to town and is old-fashioned about everything and Adam apologizes to Sarah and Kalyopie butts head with her new debate teacher, Mr. Cannon.

Hop This Way

On Easter Sunday, Jared's family visits his father's parents (Raymond's parents), but they end up creating friction when they blame Jared and Jacob for causing their son and daughter-in-law to split. Korky goes over to Cicely's, but Rodger doesn't take a liking to him; especially when Korky brings up the fling with Gina after he thinks Cicely told him. Coulier tells his dad that he doesn't want big parties, but a dinner with him alone, and with their mother. Gaby connects Chastity with her family which helps her. The Hacieona household is in disarray when Kalyopie and her parents when old family tension between the sisters come back. Also, Gretchen's family gets together with Carl's, but find nothing in common.

What About Us?

In England, Charlotte is worried her parents are going to forget about her, but the new baby isn't the only thing on their minds. Sarah confronts Blayke about his practicing and has to apologize when she finds out about what it's really about. Meanwhile, the dirty campaign of Aaron's church threatens to tear away Colby's friendship, who eventually backs out of the campaign. Teresa tries to get Felipe back but he doesn't want anything to do with her and his angry siblings don't want to go near her either. Anna and Joshua get coerced to do a piece about ""long distance"" high school romances for Carl, Gretchen, and Jared but they only end up bickering. Billy is embarrassed when he gets a letter from his dad and later tells everyone he has two.

La Bamba

Gabriel dreams she is a Spaniard who is trying to find something—what, she doesn't know. Along her way, she meets her friends in an exaggerated form. In the first part, she has to escape her evil sister, and meets a poor, lonely boy Colbe' and together they start walking. Along the way, they get followed by Teresia, a young loose girl, Korke' a Spanish playboy, and his tough assistant, Cicelia' who follow them because she has the ""book"" that has there money in it they got from gambling. Spoiled Grechenia' and her lowly boyfriend Carlos help them escape, and the nosy reporter Jaredio follow them as well. Sickly Kalyopia', pompous Couliero' and dramatic Sarahia' all are against her. Blaykio, a peasant trying to break out of Spain is enlisted to follow them. In the end she realizes who she was walking towards: Brody and goes over to see Brody.

I'll Show Them

Feeling neglected by Blayke, Sarah takes a role in which she has go bald and pierces herself and pretends to take it to get Blayke's attention, but the stunt could have gone to far. Gaby tries to hint around to Brody she's interested, but it might be too late because he's dating Christy McNair, a rising track star. Kalyopie goes on new medicine for anorexia and feels a lot better but at the doctor spies on Bre, who doesn't look good, so she spreads a rumor that her cancer is back, but that doesn't sit well with Bre. Also, Colby and Jared deal with frog dissections. Jared, Teresa, Colby, get stuck with Aaron on their driving lessons, and all but Jared get their liscense.

Hot In Here

Summer is approaching, but finals are getting in everyone's way. To cope with staying awake, Gaby takes sleeping pills but once Kalyopie finds them in her backpack she has a fit. Also, Billy and Charlotte play clubs with the help of their manager, but Billy chooses not to study and just to party. Blayke doesn't talk to Sarah who finds help in Coulier, and Teresa goes back to the Children's Center to ask Felipe to take her back, but she finds out that the kids have spread rumors about her. Meanwhile, Colby tries to bring Lily and Bryce together one final time, while Anna pleads with Aaron to drop his Presidency or they'll friendship will be over.

Complicated

Everything is a mess on the last day of school; Korky gets the news that he's going to travel to Hawaii over the summer and he asks Cicely, but hurt that she said no because of her grandfather he asks Teresa who says yes. Felipe and his siblings then come over to apologize to her, but they see her with Korky and he throws down the flowers he gave to her and when she sees them, she begins to say something to Korky.
