80s: Heidelberg, old walls and new sound
At the beginning of the 80s, hip-hop culture spills over into Germany with breakdancing and rap. Toni-L is a founding member of Advanced Chemistry and a hip-hop pioneer from the very beginning. Together with Martin Stieber (Stieber Twins), he embarks on a journey back in time to the 80s in an old Mercedes in episode 1 of "Hiphop - Made in Germany". On their drive through Heidelberg, they meet Özcan Cosar, Antifuchs and Christian Stieber. And Cora E., who talks about her experiences as the first female MC.

"Fun rap" or deep lyrics? What characterized German hip-hop in the 90s and how did the political situation at the time influence it? Denyo from the Beginners and rapper Eunique get to the bottom of this question in episode 2 of the documentary series "Hiphop - Made in Germany".
