Episode 1

LAI KWOK CHU, HENRY (LAM, BOWIE) has been the head of A & E at a hospital for two years. He disapproves of YU LONG PING, DOROTHY (CHAN KIE EE, KIT) replacing TONG CHI LAI, JACKIE (CHOI SIU FUN, ADA). CHANG CHI MEI, PAUL (NG KAI WAH, LAWRENCE) has achieved more in Neurology and is more popular among medical students. A beautiful, talented but cold doctor, ANSON MAN (SHIU MEI KI, MAGGIE), has just joined Gynaecology. Her only relative is a sister, SUKI MAN (YUEN CHOI WAN), who is an intern in the same hospital. ANSON is very touched by PAUL and JACKIE’s love story. KONG SUN YUI, ANNIE (CHAN WAI SHAN, FLORA) has put all her efforts into AIDS education since her brother died from it. She and HENRY are settled in their relationship. PAUL, HENRY and ANSON impress TRACY HO (MUNG KA WAI, YOYO) and MC CHAN (CHAN HO), who are from rich families and doctors too, when they work on the victims from a traffic accident.

Episode 2

PAUL has lived a simple life for two years since JACKIE fell ill. JACKIE’s father, TSUEN, is suffering from dementia but he remembers everything about JACKIE. TRACY and MC start working in the hospital and cause gossips. TRACY’s uncle YI (YU YANG) has a heart attack, but refuses an operation because of work. TRACY ignores his refusal. A woman is excited when she is informed that she is pregnant with a boy after giving birth to three girls. Unfortunately, ANSON suspects that she has lupus. KWONG (WONG TAK PUN) is now going out with PEACE (FU CHOR WAI). They own a cafe at a beach. One day, PAUL, HENRY and the others visit them there. During a game, HENRY is rude to PEACE and upsets ANNIE. PAUL and STEVEN (CHEUNG TUNG JO), the Head Medical Officer, discuss an elderly patient’s case and are annoyed by the relatives’ negligence.

Episode 3

PAUL accidentally finds out about TRACY and MC’s affair. MC upsets her when he tries to cover it up. All the interns feel overloaded with their work. SUKI loses her temper over EDMOND (TONG, MICHAEL) when she complains that he does not care enough about her. TSUEN’s ex-wife gets married again, but he does not get upset and his open attitude impresses PAUL. ANSON’s patient, WAI, cannot accept that he has dementia at his young age. TRACY’s father, YAN donates money to the hospital and invites PAUL and HENRY to a dinner party to thank them for saving YI. However, he is tied up with work and does not show up. ANSON has read about a cure in saving some patients like JACKIE and tells PAUL about it.

Episode 4

SUKI and ANSON finds a boy on the way to work. They suspect that he has been sexually abused. HENRY leaves ANNIE’s beloved dog on the beach and lies to her that the dog has run away. PAUL and ANSON find that they understand each other. NAN gives birth to a boy with a heart problem and disappears. ANSON is furious with her. Luckily, the boy survives the operation. A tycoon’s son, SAM, is being sued for raping a young boy. ANNIE represents him in court and wins the case, but SAM’s arrogance is provocative, so she refuses to represent him again when the boy’s parents decide to appeal. With DOROTHY’s help, ANNIE finds her dog again and this annoys HENRY.

JACKIE’s brain is infected with flu virus. The medical team led by STEVEN has agreed to pronounce her dead, but PAUL refuses. Despite ANNIE and ANSON’s persuasion, he decides to perform surgery on JACKIE with HENRY’s help. Their action upsets STEVEN. Some patients take the risk to undergo kidney transplant in mainland China. HENRY compares DOROTHY with JACKIE all the time, but she has no choice. TSUEN’s dementia gets more serious, but luckily he only amuses people. EDMOND is a materialistic person and has a conflict with SUKI. PAUL objects to TRACY performing a liver transplant on a patient. She thinks that he is prejudiced against her. He is furious about her accusation and refuses to have further discussion with her.

Episode 6

JACKIE regains consciousness after staying in a coma for two years. HENRY and ANNIE bring her all the presents from people that they have kept for her, and she is moved. A seriously injured old lady is sent into the hospital. ANSON suspects that she has been abused. A & E receives two sister victims from a traffic accident. The elder one sacrifices herself to save her sister. MC encourages a man to hold on until his heart transplant surgery. Finally, the operation is successful. His son decides to take MC as his idol and wants to be a doctor in future. JACKIE realizes that PAUL has given up too much for her, so she tells him to put his patients in the first place. When JACKIE and TSUEN meet again, they are both stunned.

Episode 7

JACKIE and PAUL treasure every minute they spend together. ANSON starts to know JACKIE and they become good friends. An underage girl abandons her child shortly after giving birth. CHRIS and ANSON call the police and they have her arrested. The girl’s parents are very mad at CHRIS because he knows them well. JACKIE knows that PEACE is KWONG’s girlfriend from her behaviour and they become good friends. CHRIS is still bothered by the girl’s case which makes DOROTHY think that he is still a child. ANNIE realises that she loves HENRY deeply, but he is insensitive sometimes. So she and JACKIE talk all night about their love life. STEVEN sees a tattoo on GLORIA (CHAN KEE) and finds out that she has a sad history. JACKIE’s optimistic personality cheers up everybody in the hospital.

JACKIE sees TSUEN enjoying himself in his dance school and feels relief. DOROTHY is stressed by HENRY’s aggression towards her. JACKIE explains to her that he is very serious about work. JACKIE wants to take a ride on her motorbike. Although PAUL is tired from work, he still goes with her. She has made dental appointment for TSUEN but he forgets about it. While she is waiting in the clinic, a fire breaks out and, fatally, she stays there to save the others. When she is sent into the hospital, it is already too late. Unfortunately, PAUL is still in a meeting and is not informed about JACKIE’s death.

Episode 9

PAUL cannot accept JACKIE’s sudden death. He decides to leave to study in England. STEVEN suggests HENRY should write a medical column in a newspaper. He takes it as a challenge. ANNIE values her time with HENRY more after JACKIE’s death, so she decides to buy a flat and live with him. Coincidently, they see a flat which is owned by MC, so HENRY makes many bad comments about the flat but MC accepts them quietly. A mentally ill female patient, COCO, fancies HENRY. She always calls for the ambulance in order to see him. CHRIS knows something about Chinese medicine, so he sometimes gives colleagues and patients advice from the Chinese medical angle and this annoys SUKI. GLORIA is cheerful, so she gets on with everyone. One day, HENRY has left something in the car, when he gets to the car park, he is attacked by COCO.

HENRY is attacked. Luckily, DOROTHY saves him. After this incident, ANNIE loves him more. One day, some gangsters are sent into the hospital after a fight. One of them is GLORIA’s brother. She hates him and avoids meeting him, but he finds her eventually and asks her for money. She is very depressed but has nobody to talk to. HENRY slowly recovers from his injury. He changes his feelings about DOROTHY after she saved him. GLORIA’s brother is sent into A & E again and some drugs are found on him. GLORIA takes the drugs away.

Episode 11

STEVEN knows that GLORIA took some drugs away from her brother, but he does not report her. He likes FONG (LO KOON LAN). One day when they meet each other after work, he cancels his appointment and goes up to FONG’s home for dinner. However, she thinks that he is seeing someone else and keeps her distance from him. In fact, he is only living with his mother. Although his mother hassles him to build his own family, he ignores her. GLORIA is depressed and has a few drinks in a pub. KWONG tries to stop her but she tries to get him to drink with her. When KWONG refuses, she finds some strangers. Although some of GLORIA’s colleagues know that she is unhappy, they cannot help her much. She is robbed and loses her ID, so the police have to detain her. She tries to call some friends to prove her identity, but fails, so finally, she finds STEVEN and he takes the chance to talk to her.

Episode 12

GLORIA takes STEVEN’s advice and starts to like him. Meanwhile, FONG treats him very well too. HENRY realizes that he takes ANNIE for granted, so he decides to pay more attention to her. ANSON is sent to London for a conference. As Paul needs some information from Hong Kong, STEVEN asks her to bring it to him. SUKI thinks that she should appreciate the chance to develop further with PAUL, but ANSON only wants things to go naturally. One day when DOROTHY accepts a ride from HENRY, her friend who is mentally disturbed calls her up. She does not want HENRY’s sarcasm, so she cuts the call. Finally, her friend kills himself and makes her feel guilty. Luckily, ANNIE talks her over and they become good friends. HENRY and DOROTHY work together all the time and start to like each other.

Episode 13

HENRY knows that there is something going on between him and DOROTHY. To keep his relationship with ANNIE, he hangs around her all the time. It leads to ANNIE’s suspicion. CHRIS takes a great interest in Chinese medicine, so he goes to a herb shop often. He meets ANSON there one day and has a nice chat with her. The shop owner is poisoned one day and is saved by CHRIS’s information. On the way back to Hong Kong, PAUL and ANSON are on the plane with a pregnant woman who is having contractions and needs emergency procedures. Fortunately, they manage to help her deliver the baby. TSUEN thinks that TRACY is JACKIE, but she does not correct him. MC knows that TRACY worships her father, so he pursues her hard. STEVEN does not feel good getting in between GLORIA and FONG. PAUL bumps into his puppy love WINNIE (TANG SHUI MAN) in a supermarket.

Episode 14

PAUL and WINNIE catch up in a restaurant and he finds out that she is married and has two children, but her life is tough and she misses the time with him. HENRY tries to persuade PAUL to date ANSON, but he does not want a girlfriend. FONG is sent into the hospital because of food poisoning. She is touched by STEVEN’s care. One of SUKI’s patients, WING, whose parents are divorced, has leukaemia. His mother begs to have another child with his father in order to save him, but she gets turned down. SUKI feels sorry for the boy. WINNIE’s son is hurt in school, so she takes him to a hospital. She finds out that PAUL works in that hospital and looks for him, but she cannot find him. On the way home she is involved in a traffic accident, the doctors give her an X-ray test and find out that she has bone cancer. This news shocks PAUL.

Episode 15

PAUL knows that WINNIE refuses to take any treatment for her cancer, so he contacts her and tries to persuade her. However, WINNIE tells him that her husband is in debt and hiding in China, so she cannot be hospitalised. In order to get her consent to proceed with the operation, PAUL seeks help from ANNIE and TRACY’s brother, WUN, who is familiar with laws on the mainland. SUKI tries to pull PAUL and ANSON together. When she finds out that PAUL has joined a course in Chinese medicine, she enrols ANSON as well. Unfortunately, she does not see PAUL on the first lesson because he is absent. STEVEN’s student KIN encourages him to date FONG, but STEVEN has not made up his mind yet. Under WUN and ANNIE’s help, WINNIE’s husband’s legal problem is solved. Meanwhile, WINNIE’s situation worsens. ANSON reckons that she has to give up her legs and she accepts the reality, but she insists that PAUL performs the surgery.

Episode 16

PAUL does many things for WINNIE in order to give her confidence in the surgery. ANNIE is very moved by his act and fights hard on WINNIE’s husband’s case. TRACY senses distance between her and MC, so she sees him less. PAUL is tied up by work and still absent from class. CHRIS says something bad about PAUL during the class and gets scolded by ANSON. STEVEN and FONG both like each other, but they do not develop further because STEVEN is unsure about their future. WINNIE’s surgery is successful and her husband wins his lawsuit. Unfortunately, the doctors find some cancer cells in her heart. When she is dying, she accepts the fact calmly.

Episode 17

STEVEN’s mother, YING, crashes into TSUEN while she is driving and they are both sent into the hospital. Luckily they are not seriously hurt but have to stay for monitoring. YING is a snooty person and very difficult to serve. Meanwhile, TSUEN cheers up the whole hospital. HENRY and DOROTHY both notice they have special feelings about each other. She decides to see CHRIS to avoid HENRY. ANSON and PAUL spend a nice night together. ANNIE advises him to date ANSON more. STEVEN and FONG both know that YING likes orchids and they get her some coincidently. When FONG finds out that he has already got YING some orchids, she gives them all to her colleagues. CHRIS realizes that DOROTHY does not really love him and splits up with her. After that, she tells HENRY her true feelings.

Episode 18

Both HENRY and DOROTHY hide their feeling about each other. CHRIS also tells HENRY that DOROTHY loves someone else. GLORIA is threatened by her brother. She wants to talk to STEVEN but there is no chance. Meanwhile, STEVEN is finding a chance to date FONG. WAH’s son KAI is waiting for a suitable kidney for transplantation. When one turns up, he gets sick from helping TIN’s daughter in the rain. WAH blames TIN. An intern TING’s sister LING needs care. TRACY does not realize her situation and gives her a lot of work. When she fails to do it all, she scolds her. Later, LING tries to commit suicide and is sent into the hospital. TRACY realizes that she has been mean to TING. Fortunately, PAUL helps her to regain confidence.

Episode 19

MC tries hard to please TRACY but fails. An actress’s new born daughter dies suddenly. ANSON suspects the cause of death and decides to report to the police. A famous neurologist, Prof.YING, visits the hospital. STEVEN is very nervous about his visit because he was his student before and he thinks that he was prejudiced against him. Coincidently Prof.YING backs out during his visit and he needs heart surgery immediately. He insists to have STEVEN as his surgeon. The surgery goes smoothly. When Prof. YING wakes up, he explains that he was angry with STEVEN ignoring his study for a girl. After that, they are friends again. STEVEN decides to tell FONG his feelings. He invites her to his home for dinner and introduces her to YING.

Episode 20

ANNIE’s home air-conditioner breaks down, so she has to leave her dog in a pet shop. DOROTHY feels very guilty when she finds out that a shopkeeper died because of her carelessness. HENRY explains to her that it is not her fault. ANNIE loses a lawsuit and is feeling down when DOROTHY calls up, so they start sharing their difficulties and get closer to each other. STEVEN and FONG settle down with their relationship and get YING’s approval. SUKI feels that family is very important after seeing one of the patients’ parents get back together because their son has cancer. HENRY is very bothered because of his feelings for DOROTHY. Coincidently he meets her at ANNIE’s home because she is fixing her air-conditioner. When she sees the new report about the shopkeeper’s death, she becomes emotional. HENRY tries to calm her down but they end up having physical contact.

Episode 21

PAUL worries about ANNIE when he knows about HENRY and DOROTHY’s relationship. He asks HENRY to handle the situation carefully but he does not listen to him. On the way to work, CHRIS is knocked down by a drunk pregnant driver, APPLE. She needs immediate surgery in order to save the baby. APPLE’s lover LOK is asked to sign a consent for her. Apparently LOK was ANSON’s ex-boyfriend whom she believes will come back for her. When LOK finds out that APPLE is pregnant with another man’s baby, he wants to get back with ANSON. She is very confused and has a long chat with CHRIS. A lawyer KWAN (KU KEI WAN, PRISCILLA) is asked to prepare a will for a tycoon in the hospital. Her talent impresses PAUL and TRACY. ANNIE’s dog is missing from the pet shop. Although she searches everywhere, there is no sign of it. HENRY tries to comfort her but she somehow is very calm and worries him.

Episode 22

After a one-night-stand with DOROTHY, HENRY is guilty towards ANNIE, so he spends more time hanging around her and arouses her suspicion. MC is interviewed by a renowned magazine and is praised by all colleagues. He tries to hide his arrogance but not from himself. CHRIS has a crush on ANSON and tries hard to please her. In order to prove her relationship with YING, FONG arranges some social activities for her, but she finds them boring. On the way home, she bumps into TSUEN and almost hurts a child accidentally. Luckily, TSUEN saves the child and becomes a hero. HENRY’s medical column in a newspaper is popular among the readers, so a TV programme arranges an interview for him. Coincidently, KWAN watches the programme and remembers him. One day, PAUL sees an injured old lady with her grandson on the street. He insists on taking her for a check up in the hospital and finds out that the little boy is MC’s illegitimate son.… ...

On PEACE’s birthday, everyone gathers at KWONG’s shop. However, it is not a successful party as everyone has their own problems. MC brings his new girl to the hospital to embarrass TRACY. However, this only makes all the colleagues impressed with TRACY’s generosity. EDMOND has a neuro-degeneration problem. One of his legs is shorter than the other. Although SUKI tries everyway, including CHRIS’s Chinese medicine prescription, to help him, he still feels bad and releases his temper on her. TRACY finally splits up with MC. He is sarcastic and says that he only goes out with her because she is a tycoon’s daughter. He destroys her pride and she hides at home for days. Although PAUL worries about her, he dares not to find her. Eventually, YAN gets him to talk to her.

TRACY’s pride is hurt by MC’s comment. YAN tries to call him to settle the argument, but he takes a holiday in Paris. After talking to PAUL, TRACY decides to work in the hospital again. However, her lack of concentration causes several mistakes at work. STEVEN hopes that PAUL and ANSON can brighten her up again. EDMOND’s boss transfers him to a desk position after knowing his situation. He then becomes very depressed. SUKI can only support him spiritually. The hospital decides to set up more TV interviews for HENRY. He suggests to include a female doctor. STEVEN accepts his proposal and tries to find a suitable candidate. TRACY pulls herself up again after PAUL’s scolding. This makes YAN feel relief.

Episode 25

After breaking through her mental block, TRACY becomes more mature and welcomed by other colleagues. PAUL feels proud of her. KWAN takes up a new position in ANNIE’s law firm. She envies ANNIE because their boss, DONALD, treats ANNIE specially. HENRY and ANNIE have a traffic accident while HENRY is driving. Luckily, they are not seriously hurt. STEVEN is meant to pick up FONG on the way to work, but he leaves early alone and makes FONG feel neglected. TSUEN and YING have a lot in common, so they have a good time together. CHRIS has a crush on ANSON, SUKI encourages him not to give up although ANSON often avoids him. While TRACY and PAUL are having a chat, a cleaning lady and her son walk by. PAUL notices something strange about the boy’s eyes, so he asks him if he had an accident with his eyes lately. TRACY admires him even more for his sensitivity.

ANNIE asks HENRY to reveal his true feelings for her. FONG is upset with STEVEN’s negligence. ANSON turns down CHRIS. TSUEN sees everybody’s love problem and thinks that they are bothering themselves. EDMOND decides to be an assistant lawyer. During the interview, some guys come to demand blackmail. He stands up to solve the problem and impresses KWAN. ANNIE finally interrogates HENRY over his relationship with DOROTHY. He wants to lie at first, but he can only confess when she shows him his watch which she picked up at DOROTHY’s place. He asks her for another chance. However, she tells him that she had a one-night-stand with PAUL years back and she still misses him, therefore, she decides to leave Hong Kong and this hurts HENRY.

TSUEN has serious flu. He feels like he is dying, so he calls up his ex-wife but she ignores him. A pharmacy owner, TSANG, is sent into the hospital because of drug addiction. His son insists to clean him up but his wife thinks that he will not survive the process. No decision is made. STEVEN’s half-brother JAMES is in Hong Kong to handle their father’s legacy. YING has no idea about JAMES’s existence. Coincidently, JAMES has a little accident and is staying in the hospital. FONG somehow exposes JAMES’s identity to YING and she turns furious after knowing about her husband’s secret child. Luckily, TSUEN talks to her and cheers her up. She bumps into JAMES at the law firm. All unhappiness is gone when she says ‘hi’ to him. TSANG’s son finally realizes his father’s needs. His understanding makes MC feel guilty towards his son. ANSON avoids CHRIS and makes him helpless.… ...

MC is dating another tycoon’s daughter, CHEE. She asks him to quit medicine for business but he refuses. One day a teenager is sent into the hospital because of a stroke from playing TV games. His family is very worried. KAI finally has a chance for kidney transplant and the news pleases WAH. A middle-aged woman is depressed from losing her baby during labour. Meanwhile, Mrs. CHEUNG has given birth to triplets, so the woman steals one of them. ANSON feels bad and responsible for the abduction. Luckily, CHRIS helps her out. An insurance saleswoman, PAULINE, plays a trick on EDMOND and spreads fake rumours about him. He is bothered by the incident and forgets to pay at a supermarket and gets accused of shoplifting. Luckily, TRACY bails him out. PAUL suggests all medical officers sign out a letter to prove EDMOND’s good personality. The missing child is found, but CHRIS is also hurt.… ...

Episode 29

HENRY gets more and more popular by answering audience’s questions during a TV show. DOROTHY, TRACY, PAUL and HENRY coincidentally meet at a pub. When they are leaving, PAUL proposes to send DOROTHY home to avoid an embarrassing situation. However, his kindness makes TRACY think that he is avoiding her. KWAN represents a patient in suing the hospital. HENRY denies their charges and makes her very angry. Losing her control, she reveals that they were married in the US four years ago, but he ran away to avoid responsibilities. EDMOND starts to worship KWAN. HENRY calls up his mother, NAN, trying to find out things about KWAN, but fails. Actually, NAN returns back to Hong Kong. She is a cheerful woman and is welcomed by the neighbours. HENRY only finds out that she is back when he sees her at his home. SUKI notices that EDMOND treats KWAN better than her and decides to break up with him.

SUKI does not want ANSON to know about her argument with EDMOND, so she spends a night at DOROTHY’s place. When they are chatting, she finds out DOROTHY’s feelings for HENRY. HENRY is bothered by NAN’s return. PAUL, however, praises and delights her. PEACE is going out with a Malaysian businessman. His wife finds out about it and messes up the whole hospital. STEVEN orders PEACE to take a long vacation to fix things up. STEVEN assumes that TIN is after FONG, but she tells him that TIN is actually after WAH. A young girl, MEI, needs a liver transplantation. However, both her parents have hepatitis. Her sister, WAN, is willing to be a donor. TRACY refuses WAN’s proposal and she scolds TING badly when she makes some suggestions. After TRACY and WAN have a long talk, she finally accepts WAN’s suggestion. HENRY finds no sign of ANNIE and becomes depressed.… ...

PAUL has no idea why HENRY is sarcastic towards him. TRACY keeps a voice message from PAUL and listens to it sometimes. Her uncle makes fun of her silly act. EDMOND works hard to gather evidence for KWAN’s case. PEACE quits her job for her affair. GLORIA thinks that she is unfaithful to KWONG. JESSICA is infertile and decides to try test-tube fertilization. Her husband, DONALD objects to the idea. Luckily, KWAN calms them down. CHRIS’s mother has crystals inside her ovaries and needs emergency surgery. CHRIS feels life is insecure. PAUL has a fight with HENRY. After that, he goes to KWONG’s cafe to remember JACKIE. EDMOND studies a case at KWAN’s place. He tells her his feeling for her, but she scolds him in return. SUKI assumes that EDMOND is having an affair with KWAN. HENRY quits his job. PAUL tries to talk him out of it but ends up in an argument with him.

PAUL is bothered by the tension with HENRY. TRACY tries to comfort him. SUKI’s leukaemia patient WING’s mother has given birth to another boy, so he can have a bone marrow transplant. CHRIS dates ANSON again. SUKI is bothered by EDMOND’s changes. A gang leader is seriously injured in a fight and sent into the hospital. His man, GOR, threatens to kill PAUL if he fails to save him. Finally, the patient dies and TRACY worries about the threat. Meanwhile, GOR has escaped from prison. TRACY waits in the rain outside PAUL’s home when she fails to find him. He is very touched and accepts her. NAN wants to see HENRY more because she is dying. She meets KWAN to catch up but falls ill. In the hospital, HENRY finds out that she has last stage lung cancer.

Episode 33

HENRY cannot accept the fact that NAN has cancer. Meanwhile, NAN does not seem bothered by her condition. KWAN scolds him for only being concerned with his own feelings. She makes him realize that he should cherish the time left with NAN. In order to cheer NAN up, STEVEN calls for a gathering with TSUEN, YIN, FONG and NAN. FONG does not know NAN’s condition and assumes that STEVEN is after her. She feels shame after his explanation. PAUL is slowly accepted by TRACY’s family. In a dinner party, YI has heart attack and dies. TRACY is heartbroken. GOR follows PAUL for revenge. PAUL has no idea about it and attends a party.

A dying boy is sent into the hospital. Eventually, HENRY saves him. STEVEN tries to persuade him to stay but he refuses. PAUL is feeling down. Although TRACY has just lost her uncle, she still tries to comfort him. EDMOND misses SUKI, so he decides to get back to her. GOR still follows PAUL and finds a chance to attack him. DOROTHY receives a warm welcome from SUKI after her holiday. They both decide to shed off their blues. EDMOND is injured and hospitalised. SUKI finds flowers from him on her desk. GOR attacks PAUL at the hospital. Fortunately, HENRY saves him but SUKI is hurt. Apparently, GOR thinks that she is PAUL’s girlfriend.

SUKI’s life is slipping. HENRY puts all the hospital regulations aside to rescue her. GOR is also seriously hurt. Although everyone hates him, ANSON keeps her professional duty and tries to save him. At last, SUKI dies. PAUL blames himself for her death. TRACY tries to talk him out. STEVEN tries again to keep HENRY, but he is determined to leave. He cherishes every moment with NAN. KWAN spends a lot of time with her and makes HENRY realize that she takes good care of her back in the US. Eventually, NAN dies with HENRY beside her. PAUL worries about TRACY and tries to call her many times, but she does not return his calls. One of YU’s patients loses one leg because he does not believe what YU tells him. Luckily, he saves another patient’s life with what he learns from MSF. KWONG tries to date GLORIA. She worries that he still misses PEACE, so he promises her that it is not the case. PEACE also blesses them. MC notices DOROTHY drive TRACY’s car out and follows her to find TRACY.

PAUL finds TRACY eventually. When he is about to ask her why she disappeared, her epilepsy strikes again. Everybody worries for her. Meanwhile, she finds that PAUL does not care for her enough and decides to leave for the States to seek medical treatment. HENRY feels sorry for DOROTHY’s pregnancy, so he takes her out for dinner and takes real good care of her. His attitude delays her telling him the truth. EDMOND accompanies ANSON to visit SUKI’s grave. He creates a chance for CHRIS and ANSON. However, ANSON feels that CHRIS’s enthusiasm towards her has died lately. WING recovers and is leaving the hospital. He asks about TRACY and wants to meet all the medical officers before he leaves. On the scheduled day, PAUL cannot make it because of work. TRACY thinks that he despises her.

They finally become normal friends again. CHRIS is hurt when he tries to settle a couple’s argument. By then, ANSON finds herself really caring about him and accepts him. STEVEN appreciates FONG’s optimism and feels good with her. PAUL is disappointed with TRACY’s misunderstanding and determination to leave for the States.

YU meets his father, who abandoned him and his mother before, at a street and is sad seeing him being homeless. DOROTHY appreciates HENRY’s care, so she calls ANNIE up for him. He finds he does not fit being a TV man, therefore, he comes back to the hospital to share the work in A & E with YU. After TRACY leaves, she finds that PAUL is too important for her, so she comes to tell PAUL her true feelings. HENRY cannot forget ANNIE. However, he does not know where she is…
