Despite their mutual distrust, they agree to help each other investigate the mysterious deaths. But Louise starts to have doubts about Gabriel when she finds out that his son died in an arson fire.

The deaths are now signed by graffiti scrawled on the scene: MOLOCH – an ancient god of sacrifice. The victims also seem to have been deliberately targeted. Gabriel witnesses a fiery killing, while Louise reconnects with people from her past – a network of punks and anarchists. She ends up at a violent rave party and quickly feels overwhelmed by her decision.

The three housing project deaths have triggered riots, and the threat of violence seems inevitable. However, Louise has attracted the attention of Moloch himself, who summons her for a meeting.
