DAN misunderstood LAN was living with LUNG. She was happy and returned home. LAN’s father HON pointed that LAN should be responsible for the failure of the marriage to a certain extent. LUNG, SZE and BO were having hot pot. WAN and MEI joined without being invited. LUNG was angry. LAN recalled her days with KWONG. She called him but found that there was a female voice from KWONG’s side. She cut off. She threw away all the toys given by KWONG. LUNG discovered those toys were the ones who had caused his injury previously. He looked for LAN to express his anger. LAN went to the property agent to rent another place. She met KWONG and BONNIE. Episode 1
LUNG was a department head of Human Resources Department. He was arrogant because he had the authority to cut down the number of staff. Colleagues hated him very much. LUNG and his friend SZE, who speculated in shares and property, had bought an apartment in Parklane Garden for speculation. They intended to sell it at sixteen million dollars. LUNG’s boss PETER had invited a consultant LAN about cutting down the headcount. LAN proposed to begin at the middle level. SZE’s father POR was an owner of a condiment shop. HING bought LUNG’s house and demanded him to move within seven days. LUNG determined to divide the apartment in Parklane Garden into three parts and rented them out. He met his ex-colleagues and lied that he was doing health food business. LUNG went to LING’s property agent and was ashamed of himself because SZE had good skill of selling products. As told by LAN, KWONG lied that he would leave for Canada to develop his business. In order to move back home, MEI’s brother CHOI and his wife YAN threatened CHUN and CHUI. CHUI therefore brought CHUN to look for their mother. They lost their way, but they met LAN fortunately. Reporters took photos of KWONG and BONNIE when they were buying baby stuff. LAN was angry and decided to divorce.

LAN changed her mind suddenly when she was signing the divorce agreement. She was afraid that the company would be dispersed and her hard work might come to nothing. MEI and WAN were frightened that CHOI might mistreat their children again. They determined to bring them to Parklane Garden. DAN knew from LUNG’s ex-secretary that LUNG was fired. She pressed upon FUNG and BO. BO disclosed that the luxurious apartment had rented out. LUNG’s self-respect was hurt and administration staff of TC Club looked down upon him. He returned home angrily. LAN poured out LUNG’s noodle carelessly. They quarreled. LAN thought over LUNG’s reproof on her, and with HON’s economic support, LAN got divorce with KWONG and bought the other half of share of the company.

SZE was sad after discovering TING helped him pay the rent. He hid in a telephone box and called his ex-girlfriends about his grievances. However, he was neglected. He was drowned in a swimming pool. LUNG saved him. Both of them had a long chat. LUNG found that CHUI and CHUN had moved into the apartment. He forced them to move. WAN and MEI were depressed. BO told LUNG that there was a letter asking him for a job interview. LUNG knew that it was recommended by LAN, he rejected her favor. Afterwards, he found himself was not suitable for direct distribution. He took back the letter and was seen by BO. SZE met LING in a hair salon. He was shocked by LING’s way of eating tomato. LUNG reported duty. He was astonished that all colleagues were female and also not used to their indolent working attitude. LUNG told SZE about his misery. She looked for her everywhere, but failed. LUNG drove the car to look for CHUN. He found her finally and intended to sent her home. However, he was being suspected as a swindler by police. LUNG finally agreed to let CHUI and CHUN to stay at his house. LUNG was busy all night in decorating the venue for the next day. SZE and others offered their help, LUNG refused. Early in the morning, LAN realized that LUNG had not completed yet. She helped him to finish the banquet decoration despite of his reluctance. The client appreciated very much, LUNG was grateful. However, his colleague was jealous of him.

LUNG was angry because his colleagues called him as male companion. LAN comforted him. He returned thanks with his homemade sauces. LING owned debt. In order to earn extra two hundred thousand dollars, LING pushed up the price. DAN only thought that it was the owner who increased it. LING discovered her boyfriend had another girl. She looked for him and was being made fun of. SZE got back justice for her. LING was grateful. LING was drunk, SZE told her that he was her father. On LING’s birthday, KAI brought LING’s grandma to point that LING was not SZE’s daughter. Fortunately, LUNG came to help. LING was impressed. LING had a special feeling towards LUNG. In addition, she discovered LUNG respect love. She decided to date him. LUNG was proud of his charm. LING took an affectionate lunch box to LUNG’s office. LING found that LUNG’s female colleagues did not respect him. She played tricks on them. LAN lost her job to a young lady. LUNG comforted her that she had potentials to look younger. CHUI was selected to be standby in an inter-school quiz competition. A teacher of a famous school asked him to study in his secondary school. LING overheard that SZE was afraid of LUNG would die before her, so nobody would take care of her. She immediately bought insurance for LUNG. LUNG was unhappy to know that his probation had to extend for three months more. LUNG made sauces at home, everybody admired very much. LING encouraged him to start his business.
