The quest begins with a lead that points the treasure hunting team to an old and long-abandoned Jesuit monastery. To get there, the team must travel through Yungas Road, infamously known as "Death Road" because it has more fatalities each year than any other road in the world. Mere miles before they reach their destination, a landslide forces the team to stop dead in their tracks and reroute their journey to safety. Will this end the team's trek to the treasure, or will their knowledge and expertise take them through to the end?

Smashing into a secret underground tunnel system, the team scours the subterranean cavern searching for the $2 billion treasure.

The team is trapped in an ancient, underground tunnel putting the search at risk. Using just the gear they have on site, the crew rigs a remote-controlled camera that finds the expedition's most significant treasure.

Falling boulders threaten the crew and the dig site. Their dangerous solution could trigger a massive landslide. Deep underground, Shawn and Jeremy recover their first piece of Jesuit gold, a mysterious artifact that could lead to the final location.

Closing in on the Fortune

Chasing the treasure on two fronts, the team members find evidence of a route used to transport the fortune and a Jesuit artifact that could provide critical information regarding the treasure's final resting place.

Hot On the Trail

The team uses explosives to get at the treasure and get their largest find yet. The discovery of a key landmark puts them at the threshold of the two-billion-dollar fortune.

The team searches the massive tunnel, but with the valley on the verge of flooding, they're forced to put their lives at risk. Their risk pays off big, placing them on the threshold of solving the 300-year old Sacambaya mystery.
