Pit Handlos has invested a lot of money in a dubious beauty product distribution business and has been trying to sell the products to former girlfriends ever since. He hides the decline of his middle-class existence behind a pretended facade of success. After losing his apartment, he moves in with his son Flo and his son's goth girlfriend Moni under a pretext and becomes entangled in untruths. When his reunion with his childhood sweetheart Christiane ends in a customer meeting and Christiane turns away disappointed, Pit realizes that something is going wrong.
