Jennifer is a melancholic and romantically unsatisfied transgender woman who lives in a small apartment in Naples. Meanwhile, a serial killer is targeting the trans residents of the neighborhood. Jennifer spends each night listening to the radio and waiting for a phone call or the return of Franco, an engineer who left Naples for work and who Jennifer previously had a relationshp with. The phones in the neighborhood are unreliable and lines are frequently crossed.
