When his beautiful wife is tragically killed in a road accident, her French husband goes to Venice to try and discover why her body was not recovered from the blazing wreck. After picking up on a clue, he follows his wife's solicitor to a country mansion, where he discovers his wife and a group of other fetishists playing hardcore games.
