VXII century. The Old Believer family lives in the sleepy Siberian taiga. They keep an ancient miraculous icon that has saved them from trouble more than once. The icon used to belong to the boyar Morozov and came to them after his arrest. In the 1970s, a group of researchers assembled an expedition to Siberia, to the place where Old Believers live. The icon seems to be in the skete of Karp and his daughter Agafia.
