Office worker Kako Hoshino develops the ability to time travel whenever she is surprised. She would travel back in time for several minutes with the person who surprised her. Therefore, she tried to avoid contact with other people as much as possible. A chance of love was about to come her way, but she's surprised by the clumsy Chizuru, and time unintentionally rewinds, ruining the chance. Despite this, Kako and Chizuru, who were not particularly close at first, gradually grow closer. She begins to be pursued by people who want to take advantage of her ability, and is warned that her time travels could potentially cause the world to collapse.
