Rajesh Chopra "Farooq Shaikh" meets and falls for a young simple working girl Rashi "Surinder Kaur", an interior decorator. Rajesh mistakes that Rashi is a wealthy and well to do girl while she is buying an expensive carpet for her client. She tries to fake that identity in order to keep Rajesh interested in her.
