SMUCKERS, the documentary, follows both the narrative being told throughout the song and the making of it, while also exploring the meaning behind art and intentions. SMUCKERS, though about many things, is to me an expression of the importance of making art, or doing something, for the enjoyment of the process and the love for the work. The song “SMUCKERS” is so unconventional in manner and reasoning but that’s part of what makes it so relevant and great.
