Dave Evans, Phoenix’s most famous conservative radio personality is a man very strong opinions. He´s got a privileged "perfect" little life. The girlfriend, the car, the job, the friends—until a fortuitous car accident flips his whole world upside down. Dave wakes up in the hospital with a rare form of amnesia. His ability to speak English is replaced by Spanish, a language he learned in his childhood and which he’s spent years trying to forget. Unable to change his fate, Dave´s career fizzles; his fiancé leaves him, his friends and family turn on him.
