Meak and Kolney were in a romantic relationship, and Meak had Kolney's face tattooed on his chest as a sign of his love. Meak owned a tattoo shop where he met MeiMei, a woman who enjoyed getting tattoos. Kolney found out that Meak had been unfaithful with MeiMei and was deeply hurt. She ran away, and Meak later discovered that the tattoo of Kolney's name on his chest seemed to change, showing a smiling face at times and appearing frightening at others.
