After the florist dies, good people take in her daughter. She grows into a beautiful girl and becomes a dancer. Three men fall in love with her at the same time, each of them representing different character traits, and their material position is also different. The first is a count - a low-life, whose advances the girl quickly rejects. The second is a wealthy doctor, a mature and upright man, with whom the girl becomes engaged. There is also a third - a poor painter, a friend of childhood years. At some point the girl becomes convinced that it is the painter who loves her with his one and only love.
