Synopsis

In today’s world, where the comedy boom has reached its peak, the gaze of fans filling the theatres is now focused not only on the comedians’ personas, but also on the structure of their routines, their meticulously calculated ‘boke’ (comic foil), and their masterful ‘tsukkomi’ (straight man) skills. Amongst these fervent fans, there was one woman who stood out in particular— The protagonist: Sachiko Kageyama (25). She has but one interest: the ‘skit’—the very soul of a comedian. Carrying a red notebook, she visits theatres day in, day out, dissecting manzai routines with a sharp eye reminiscent of the legendary All Kyojin.
