Synopsis

Once upon a time, long ago, Japanese emperors had a special person among their entourage whom they called Jisai, which meant sacrificial scapegoat. Jisai served the emperor as a kind of lightning rod. All the troubles and misfortunes that threatened his master were supposed to fall on his head.
