Synopsis

An HBO documentary series focused on mature subjects. Episodes have covered abortion, organized crime, pedophilia, and more. Popular sub-series include Autopsy, Real Sex, and Taxicab Confessions. The show won several awards for the 1998 production of Strippers: The Naked Stages. The series began in 1984 and, after a brief time being broadcast weekly in 2001, transitioned to once per month.
