Adam Austin Smith is an American filmmaker from the “Bootheel” of Missouri. He writes and directs narrative films that blend southern goth with sharp satire. A first-generation graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and founder of “Wishing Whales,” he now lives in Milwaukee.
