My name is Alyssa Pfeifer, and I am a filmmaker from Kansas City, Missouri. I’ve pursued film in cities in Kansas and Missouri, and have found my voice as a filmmaker telling stories that are few and far between in the Midwest. As an LGBTQ+ woman, I have fought to make my voice heard in my art, and will always fight for other creators with societal obstacles to have a voice with impact. I recently graduated from Wichita State University’s Media Arts program, which has prepared me for a career pursuing film and sports broadcasting opportunities on an international scale.
