Cristina Neves is a young Brazilian film director, editor, and producer. Raised in the state of Piauí, she moved to São Paulo to study film at the University of São Paulo (USP). In 2024, she traveled to China to shoot “Mother River 面纱之河” through the Looking China Project. She also received the award for best short documentary for "Memories and Love Letters For Sale” in Moscow, Russia, at the VGIK Festival.
