Lucian Zanes was born in New York City, and attended The Professional Performing Arts School. He briefly studied with Trazana Beverley at SUNY Purchase, and studied Shakespeare at RADA for a semester. He met his agent (Bonnie Shumofsky Bloom) at a play he was doing in the city.
