After discovering his passion for filmmaking in college, Rob began producing narrative short films and working in documentary TV with CBN's The 700 Club as well as working on other network AD's and commercials. One of his closest creative collaborators is his son, actor and director, Mason Mecartea. Together they love to write, direct and create meaningful stories in film.
