His debut feature, Bus 233, received positive reviews and a limited theatrical release in the San Francisco Bay Area when he was just 18 years old. He followed it with his second feature, I Happy, I Lover, continuing to build a body of character-driven, independent work. His films often blend drama and comedy, focusing on intimate, personal stories that explore the complexities of human relationships and everyday experience.
