A decorated Navy servicemember with deployments in the Middle East, he earned the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and multiple commendations for superior performance. Before pursuing acting full-time, Wade II served in law enforcement as a K9 officer, trainer, firearms and defensive tactics instructor, and member of specialized tactical teams. He later worked as a Merchant Marine, serving as Chief Officer and First Mate while operating throughout the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, and the Mississippi River.
