Murali is also a published Author in Malayalam; his maiden book titled, "Soviet Stationkadavu", is a short story collection. He is an AIFF (All India Football Federation) accredited licensed Football Coach, currently foreseeing Grassroot development at local Football Clubs in Trivandrum. Murali bides time by doing subtitles and script translations, until the door opens for his debut directorial.
