Viljar Hanssen (born 4 August 1993) is a Norwegian politician and survivor of the 2011 attacks on Utøya. At the time of the attacks, he was 17 years old and attending the Workers' Youth League (AUF) summer camp on the island. He later became involved in politics on Svalbard and served as a member of the Longyearbyen Community Council. Hanssen has spoken publicly about his experiences and appeared in several documentaries.
