Lorenzo Quagliozzi (Rome, 1999) is a self-taught director. After graduating from high school, he interned on the sets of The New Pope by Paolo Sorrentino and Exterior Night by Marco Bellocchio. From 2018 to 2019, he curated the video documentation for the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome and collaborated on archival research for Ennio, a documentary by Giuseppe Tornatore. Following Illusione (2020) and Il mio cuore è vuoto come uno specchio – Episodio di Odessa (2022), he won the Nastro d’Argento for Best Short Film in 2024 with De l’amour perdu.
