Her work gravitates toward stories of growing up, grief, and girlhood, often set against regional landscapes. Her practice is anchored in the places she comes from. She hopes to keep carving out room for regional stories and for the communities and causes that continue to shape her lens. When she's not on a film set or any creative playground for work, she hangs out in cafes, watches movies, or reads.
