Ivan Patorzhynsky was a Ukrainian opera singer (bass-profundo). After finishing his studies a the Katerynoslav Conservatory, he became soloist at the Ukrainian State Opera in Kharkiv (1925), and later, in 1935, he became a soloist at the Ukrainian Opera Theatre in Kyiv.
