Synopsis
"As the postscript says, after the Prussian-Austrian War in 1866, there was a rather insignificant term: Post Bellum. It was used as an additional designation for those who fought in that war and survived their comrades..." This sentence begins screenwriter Vladimír Körner's story about a young Austrian army officer, Pavel von Hebro, who survived the battle of Hradec Králové and was decorated by the emperor himself, but is now searching for a reason to continue living in this savage world.
