Synopsis
A small Belarusian town, where Olga, a vivacious and able to stand up for herself and her daughter, lived, was occupied by the Germans. It was she who was approached by the underground with a request to ransom a man from a prisoner-of-war camp. The young woman was shocked by what she saw in the camp - and not finding the man she was looking for, Olga ransomed the young man, calling him her husband.
