Synopsis
The Bavarian district town of Dachau gained worldwide fame as the first Nazi concentration camp and has long since become a tourist attraction. In his directorial debut, cameraman Bernd Fischer, who was born and grew up in Dachau, documents the not-so-ordinary everyday life in his home town, life with the burden of the past and the various mechanisms of repression used by the locals.
