Synopsis

The main character, Wojtek, is a country boy who, against all odds, decided to become a doctor and, despite enormous difficulties, realized this goal. After graduating from the Medical Academy, he took a job in one of the hospitals in Lodz. Returning to the places of his childhood and early youth, Wojtek realizes what he has lost.
