Synopsis
"Kita Merdeka" is a television film made as a tribute to frontline workers in this country, including those working in essential services and products. Luq is promoted from a supervisor to a market manager at AEON. In his excitement to celebrate this success with his family, Luq's desire to return to his hometown is limited when the Malaysian government announces a lockdown to deal with the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Luq, who is still in the process of adjusting to his new duties, faces various unexpected challenges as AEON Hypermarket is not exempt from the essential industry.
