Synopsis
She Who Remains is an upcoming Bulgarian/Albanian/Italian co-production, directed by Kostadin Bonev, based on the award-winning novel by Rene Karabash. The film centers on 16-year-old Békia, who becomes a "sworn virgin" in the Albanian mountains to escape a forced marriage, triggering a chain of violent consequences.
