Synopsis
The story is based on the life of a poet who lived in Japan in the Taisho era. When her fiancé is arrested she believes he has suddenly disappeared and that he has abandoned her. She faces a dilemma. Despite her family being of a high class, they do not have money, which means she has to get married to someone who does.
