Synopsis
Ms. Hopeless Romantic is a manifestation of the romanticization of “the chase.” The film follows a narrative arc of a teenage girl who prints an incomprehensible and perhaps ridiculous number of posters with her phone number and alias, and puts them in increasingly unrealistic places. This film isn’t about “the one,” and it’s certainly not a love story, at least not between two people. Instead, it reflects the glamorization of this journey.
