Synopsis
Marpissa is a village in the Aegean Sea that celebrates Easter in its own unique way: On Good Friday, all daily routines come to a halt as eleven scenes from the Passion of Christ are brought to life by villagers portraying figures such as Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and Pontius Pilate.
