Synopsis

In a community steeped in tradition, the Kimote family has been renowned for their exquisite barkcloth craftsmanship for generations. Kimote Sr., disillusioned by a life of unfulfilled dreams, urges his son to abandon their ancestral trade in search of greater opportunities.
